What if?- A Starco fanfic

The Prologue

 Nothing but silence is in the mist.The  two shallow  best friends  stare at each other with nervousness and sorrow.Marco Who is holding his duffel bag is about to leave earth. "Well..... I guess this is goodbye", He said with sadness . King river gives him a big hug. "It has been a great pleasure having you here". "It won't be the same without you lad. And before you go there's something I want to give you".King river pulls out a small treasure chest,opens it and, pulls out a cape with the Letter M patchworked on the back. "Th...Thank you sir" he said as he puts it on. Queen moon walks up to him. "Takes care of yourself dear", she said as she gave him a kiss on the forehead. "Thank you mam", He said. And finally he walks up to star as they both stare at each other with sadness and awkwardly, Star starts to shed a tear. "I.....I guess this is it".He said nervously."Yea... I'm gonna miss you". Star said trying to hold back tears. They both share one last hug together, A hug that was just about as tight  as their friendship."Goodbye Star",He said. They let go and Marco takes out his dimensional scissors and uses them to open a portal back to earth. Right before he enters he turns his head around and ways his hand to the royal family as they do the same. As soon as Marco enters the portal , Star runs up grabs his arm and pulls him out. "Marco wait", Star said. "Yes?", He replies back. They both stare into each other's eyes,but suddenly star gently lunges her head until her lips pressed up against to his. Marco is in shock as his eyes widen as the king and queen watch from a distance. The queens tear Leak from her left eye which the king  drys it with his index finger. ten seconds have. past, star pulls herself away in embarrassment, but Marco just stood there ,with a surprised look on his face. "St....Star?", He said quietly. I...Love you, She whimpered as the shed of tear forms into a river filled with sadness. Marco looks down. All he could feel or think about was the pain is stars voice, the words she said to him. echoing throughout his mind. He  starts  to walk back to the portal but before he does he's he takes one last look at star, his star, his star that made his world shine brighter than the sun. a river pours down from his eyes as he goes through the other side with nothing but his duffel bag, his guilt and his sorrow with him.
