What if?- A Starco fanfic

Part 4: Glowing Hearts

 The yellow glow  captivated the two of them. Confused but yet mesmerized by what the are seeing..What do you think is down there?, Janna asked in excitement. "I..I don't know",he said. Janna notices a ladder, her curiosity managed to overcome her. She  decides to climb down into the hole. Janna wait, "I don't know if this is such a good idea",Marco worried." Who knows what could be down there". Janna rolls her eyes at him annoyed and  once again ignoring his potential warnings, Marco, "for just this once can you not be such a safe Kid?", Janna smarted out. Now are "You gonna be a big baby  or climb down?"

This tempts Marco into climbing down. One by one the two of them take each step. as they descend, the two of them start to notice a fowl smell"geez.... it smells like bad meat down here",Marco said In disgust. I'm guessing this is where they put it. Thought Janna. As Marco puts his foot on one of the handles, like a twig, its snaps causing  him to loose his grip and fall hitting the ground. Janna rushes down the ladder quickly and rushes towards him to make sure if he's ok. "Are you ok dude?!" She worried. Marco slowly gets up and brushes himself off. "Yea... I'm alright, my stomach broke my fall", he said. Janna looks straight ahead and finds the source of the ominous glow .it was coming from which looks like a well being covered by a wooden lid 

. "Woah... what do you think is inside?", Marco asked. "Probably gold", she thought. as they reached the well the two of them begin to uncover the lid. once they got the lid off, it reveals that the well contains a  yellow liquid, but yet gooey substance." What is that?", janna asked. They both stare at the liquid, confused, however Marco looked more surprised."This stuff looks familiar", Marco thought. "Marco, come check this out". Janna called. he follows Janna who is looking at the wall, suddenly, Marco pauses.Thats when he too notices a stone structure engraved onto the wall.  he walks up to the structure and as he gets closer, he notices that it depicts a  bunch of people gathering and worshiping a mysterious pointy eared bearded creature with a gem on its forehead with liquid coming out of its mouth and into the well that reveals a word that's is covered in liquid, crystals, and  unicorns going in opposite directions. The bearded creature is what captivated Marco. It depicts  a familiar face that he had not seen in so long 

."Is that......, Glosoryk?", he said in shock.He takes out his phone and takes a picture of the mural.Suddenly, he notices that janna once again is no longer beside him and that's when he hears her voice shouting"last one in is a sore loser!", Janna bragged as she is about to dive into the well. Marco quickly looks back and forth at  the mural and the well, realizing that it was the well that was in the mural. "Janna ,wait!", he said as he runs towards Janna. Janna turns around  and sees Marco who is  charging at her. She quickly gets out of the way, but Marco is unable to slow down. He hits the well  causing him to trip and fall into the yellow liquid causing some  of it to spill on Janna as she looks into the well hoping to find  Marco."Marco?! Marco!?".She panicked

                     Meanwhile on Mewni
Back at the monster temple, Star finally tells Eclipsa about having her coronation earlier than she expected. Eclipsa  too knew what the actually meant. however she still refused to except the title." Star I'm so sorry about this", Eclipsa said. I would love to help you in anyway that I can,But you know I can't be the queen anymore. I'm happy with the life that I have now. disappointed and Broken, Star sheds a tear and the two foster butterflies wings wrapped around each other 

" I know Eclipsa , but I don't feel like I deserve it", Star said." I don't want want to be queen I don't be force into something  just because of the kingdoms  old habits. But you,You are the rightful heir and My family took that away from you all because they see things differently, and if I become the next queen then I'm no better than the rest of them".  I Don't know what to do t I'm just so confused and I'm.... I'm so scared". The frail princess cover here eyes with both of her hands, but Eclipsa puts her hand on stars shoulder and looks into her eyes. "Star, it's ok", Eclipsa said with a smile. "You are not like the rest of your family, you are brave, sweet, loving, determined  And believe in what is always right, but the only thing you need to ask yourself is, What does your heart tell you?"

 Star thinks for a minute, just as she's about to speak,Her phone starts to ring. She answers it. "Hello?",star asked. "Star,you need to come to castle immediately", Moon said. "What's wrong, did something happened?", Star worried. Star, please just get over here now!". as soon as her mother hanged up on her. Star quickly says goodbye to eclipse and storms off to the castle worrying about the phonemail from her mother. She arrives at the castle and meets her mother and father outside of the entrance. Mom, Dad what the matter?!, she asked in concerned, Pumpkin, we have something to show you, King River said with a smile. 

The trio enter the castle and proceed to walk to one guest rooms with her mother. "Guys, what is it, why won't you tell me what's going on?", Star asked in frustration. Just as they arrived outside at the guest room door, the king and queen  turn to their daughter with smiles on their faces , "The guards found him at the magic sanctuary", she said."found who?", Star questioned. "See for yourself dear". Moon said. Star opens to door and sees a figure lying in the bed.as she slowly walks up to it. she paused and  is shocked by what is gazing at. It was him, the boy from her past. The boy that  she shared great memories with, The boy who she once had a crush on. It was Marco, who is in the bed unconscious covered with that yellow liquid. The princess can't believe what she is looking at.Her old best friend that she had not seen for some time. "M..Marco?",Star asked herself in shocked. while hearing the partially familiar voice, the sleeping boy  slowly opens  his eyes and is immediately shocked at what is interfacing with him. The blonde headed girl with hearts on both of her cheeks. 

"*Gasp...St...Star?", he said in shock.
