Luna snickered from her hiding spot, quite sure Vin wouldn't have found her and thinking victory was already hers. "SHE'S HERE!" soon enough the squealing voice of Kris filled the roomand made her joint up, hitting her head against the table, then making her crawl out and frowning "Hey, what the- Kris! That's cheating!" she said, looking up at the two figures."Ah, well- Sorry Luna, but I needed her help. She was also stuck in the jail and I went to free her- but say, can you help us find Hiba? We've been looking for her through all the mansion but she really hid well." Vin scratched her neck, looking at Kris for a moment. Luna stood and cleaned her clothes from the dust of the stones "Ah, I saw her hiding in a closet of this floor." She shrugged, a bit salty about having lost, but still happy to get her revenge by doing the same thing done to her to someone else. Kris and Vin exchanged a glare, a little confused "We...already checked all the closets of this floor." Vin raised an eyebrow. "Wait- I'm pretty sure she didn't change spot tho, I would have heard her move, but I just heard Alex walk by- I think...?" Luna scratched her head. Vin remembered the keys, the mirror, the shovel and Alex's smile before connecting everything. "G-guys- I think we should go check on them and find them as soon as possible. Meanwhile...I think I should show you something." She said as she took her phone out of her pocket, unlocking it.Meanwhile Hiba wasn't in danger, she had just heard some noises coming from outside and decided to have a look. It sounded like digging, but it had been going on since a while now.She tried to peek through a very tiny fissure of the barricates, peeking outside, and all she could see among the heavy rain and the slight fog was Alex in her black hoodie, covering the hole she had just made with dirt and stones, then hitting the shovel against the ground to make it look flat. When she moved her foot and turned around to get more dirt with her shovel, a bloody hand was revealed peeking out from the ground. The girl turned pale at the sight of that horror, watching as Alex threw some more dirt on it and covered thecorpse as if it was nothing. What creeped her out even more was that, when her friend was done hiding her job, she saw her leaning an elbow on the hold of the shovel and smiletiredly, yet satisfedly just a moment before she turned her read towards the window, right towards the fissure Hiba was watching her from. Impulsively covered her mouth and shiftedto the ground, closing her eyes tightly and telling herself she didn't see what she saw. She waited a few seconds before slowly crawling back to the window to peek outside- andAlex was gone. Hiba widened her eyes at the sound of steps slowly coming behind her. She thought it would be Vin, but as soon as she turned her head she felt a shiver through her spineand yelped at the sight of the one she had seen outside moments before. As soon as the others heard the yelp from the other side of the first floor, the knew they had to run over and check. "I'm telling you, she's not- mentally stable!" Vin groaned, hoping this time the others would believe her "W-what are you saying?" Luna chuckled nervously while running withthe two of them "I'm sure s-she just- playfully scared her!" "And the blood must have been tomato sauce!" Kris added. "I can't believe you're doing it again! She porbably- HIT herwith the shovel! Just hush and hurry!" Vin insisted."Hiba. What were you doing? And what's the scream for?" Alex furrowed her eyebrows, staring down at the girl, who was still shivering and breathing quite heavily after the scare. She didn't answer at first, she just stared. Alex furrowed her eyebrows a little more, sounding more serious "What...were you...doing?" She said a little more codly.Hiba inhaled and slowly stood; *It's Alex* she told to herself *It's just Alex* she repeated in her mind. Then she faced away "I heard some noises from outside and then I-" She paused."...What were /you/ doing?" Hiba asked her instead. The girl sighed and shook her head "Vin already asked the same thing. I was burying a dead animal. Anything wrong with that?" She smiled calmly, walking past her quietly. "A dead animal... w-with hands?" She stuttered, making Alex pause and make her smile fade a little "What are you saying..." She said while turningher head slightly to her, her smile still present "...Silly?" She finished the question. Hiba didn't know if she wanted to answered, but after gathering some bravery, she did."A-Alex, I'm not kidding... W-who was that guy in the garden? A-and what the hell happened to them?" She gulped. Alex simply stared for some seconds and kept quiet at first, but allof sudden she walked back to her with a grin "Oh, you were always the curious kind, were you not, Hiby?" In that grin she seemed to be clinching her teeth. She reached for Hiba's armand grabbed it firmly, even a little too tightly "But curiosity kills the cat." Alex whispered lowly, as Hiba struggled to get away from her grip "W-what are you talking about? What areyou saying?? Let go, Alex! I don't enjoy this kind of jokes from you, I-""Hiba! We heard you yelp!" Vin shouted while getting near them. Noticing the three of them approaching, Alex suddenly pulled the girl into a very, very tight hug and forced her to buryher head in her shoulder, then put a hand on her dark hair as if she was holding her 'protectively'. "O-oh gosh- Hiba- C-calm down now, please..." She faked a terribly worried tone.Alex was also making it hard for Hiba to breath by the way she was holding her. Seeing they were just hugging, the others stopped. Alex faced them sadly "Y-you know how she is with loud noises- I-I think she must have been scared by a thunder, or some tree falling- L-let me handle this, okay?" She spoke softly, but to be believed, she grabbed Hiba'shair quite hardly; hardly enough to cause her to tear up, added to her heavy panting because of the difficulty she was having in breathing. Seeing that, Luna and Kris looked at each other, then at Vin with a smile "See? It was just a scare... let's just go back to our room" Luna whispered to her, and she couldn't do muchbut nod quietly and looked away slightly "Y-yeah... sorry. Take your time, we'll- wait upstairs." Alex smiled fondly and nodded slowly "Don't worry. We'll be there in a moment..." She reassured them. Soon the three were walking back to the stairs; Alex waited for the very last moment before finally letting go of the girl, looking down to her neutrally.Hiba caught her breath and pulled back, crying quietly, but yet unable to escape Alex's grip. "I'm sorry, you do understand I had to do that... right?" She smiled softly, as if it wassomething entirely normal; She didn't receive an answer. "Dawh...Hiby. I hate to see you like this..." She smiling still as she brought a hand to her chin, grabbing it and lifting it carefully "but you have to keep quiet. You'd... hate to get me in trouble, right? And then I'd have to hurt you... hurt them... I don't want that. You're my friends!" Alex smiled brightly at the last sentence. Hiba just didn't know what to say, but she closed her eyes- she didn't like that smile, nor the way she was holding her. "W-what did you do?" She just asked."I started a game." Was the simple response, followed by an unsettling laugh.
