Vin was starting to get desperate by the lack of good weapons in the mansion. Sure, there were some, such as axes, or fake wooden and stone swords. But she knew that if she really wanted to face a murderer, she would have needed something more efficient. After going many times through the floors, she ended up in yet another useless room. "I can't possibly defend myself with wooden sword!" She complained. "And the others may be in danger... I have to be quick, and think fast." She attempted to reassure herself, but tired as she was, she decided that leaning her palm against the wooden wall.

Vin blinked and raised her eyebrows at the strange sound, hearing some noise shortly after, like gears moving somewhere in the mansion. She slowly lifted her palm and leant towards the wall for a closer look. "A button..." she noticed "I just hope this isn't any trap... that's the least I need." She mumbled, right before lifting her head and hearing the gears stop after some seconds. "...It came from the second floor. Huh, maybe this mansion isn't too old." She stated as she hurried to make her out of the room and ran across the halls, eventually heading to the stairs.
Meanwhile Kris had brought Luna up to the bathroom, to bandage her face carefully. "Kris- we don't have time for this! She must be after us!" Luna said in fear, but Kris just went on with covering her burnt face with candid bandages, making her even hiss in pain. "Shut up, you're not going anywhere like this!" The other pouted.
"Ladies~" a voice from behind the door called, irritated "Let me in, WILL YOU?" The voice said, now with even more anger. The two girls tensed up and looked at each other in fear, whispering to decide on what to do "W-where do we go now??". Alex stared to violently grab the door and tried to open it, even kicking it from time to time, causing a lot of noise as they spoke. "I know you're in there..." she laughed. Luna flinched and gulped "T-There's not much we can do... Either we hide, or-" She paused and looked towards a secondary door that brought to the stairs; they knew that adjusted on the edges of the stairs was some thin, ruined and old wood. Perhaps there was a floor before but then it was removed, leaving only some parts around it. However the door was still there. "I have  a plan." Without adding much else, Luna explained her friend what to do quickly.
"Now you're REALLY getting on my nerves..." The murderer said, and started to hit the door harder and harder. The locks weren't new either, and it didn't take long before the door was slammed open, the sound of the rusty metal of the lock breaking at hitting the floor. Alex panted heavily and a smile stretched across her face as she glared around the room, then stopped and faced the stalls. She sighed and shook her head "Now, now... Are you still playing hide and seek? Let's play then!~" Having said that, she approached the first door. She tightened the bloody knife in her hand and kicked the door open "One..." ; Nothing.
She then went to the second door , and did the same. "Two..." Again, disappointed.
Finally she faced the third one, the one she knew right all along, having noticed how slightly open it was compared to the others, but not wanting to avoid causing the victims hiding fear.
"...Three!" She slammed to the door open with a kick, only to be surprised by Kris crouching in it with a glass of very hot water she had taken from the sink moments before; she didn't hesitate to throw it right at Alex's face, making her groan and cover her face as she stumbled back and lost balance. "Doesn't feel nice, does it?!" Kris frowned at the killer, as her, still groaning in pain from the boiling water, had stumbled back so much that she eventually hit the short stair between the bathroom and the door who brought to the main stairs, where Luna was waiting on a side. She opened it and Alex widened her eyes as she didn't feel any support behind her back and fall down the floor, having to see Luna's grinning face and her hand keeping the door open before she fell.
As Kris quickly reached Luna, they both looked down to see where Alex could have possibly fallen. When they didn't see her, they started to worry about their own good.
Seconds after, the wooden floor beneath them started to crack.
"NOW I'm mad..." Alex clenched her teeth into a mad grin; she was standing on a wooden plate right on the sides of the stairs, beneath them, and she wasn't even hurt since it was so slightly below the point where she fell. Alex held onto the rotten wood the two were standing on and hit it once or twice, causing it to completely break ever so easily, that even Luna and Kris fell down where she was. Yet again, all that weight just cause the still bad wood of the plate to break in half and make them all fall in a spot underneath the stairs. Being the one they fell on, Alex groaned and tried to stand, but just couldn't yet. Kris and Luna hurried to get up and flee as fast as they could, while Alex slammed her fist on the birch wood and growled under breath for having her victims escape once again.

Hiba leant over and tried her best to avoid the glass shatters on the ground, since she was still bare feet. She reached an hand into the broken glass and after a while of searching with her hands, she managed to find the door's lock and press it "Aha!" She smiled victoriously and carefully opened the door from the handle now that it was unlocked. After getting in the car, she started to look for any kind of useful things. She managed to get handcuffs, and even a gun. But most importantly, a radio. At the sight of that, she realised that maybe they did have a chance to escape. She grabbed it and quickly turned it on, needed few seconds to understand how to use it.
She brought it to her mouth, her heart pounding in fear and hope it would work.
"H-hello?" She asked and waited for an answer. After a few seconds she asked again "Is... is someone receiving?" Again, she waited. But nothing. She sighed shakily, figuring the radio probably was not working. Right before she went back to look for more useful things, the radio spoke back.
"Car-----E----lia----423--receiving?---distu---rbance." A manly voice said, but probably due to the storm, the signal was rather awful. Hiba quickly grabbed the radio again and tried her best to explain "Y-yes, hello! The officer you sent has been murdered, w-we're...we're stuck here with a murderer! Send help!" She could feel herself tearing up due to both fear and yet happiness they had a chance to be rescued. The voice spoke again , the interference gradually increasing. "How--many------y--ou--? ----directions?---"
Hiba tried to understand the questions and tried her best to answer "W-We're in four, five counting the killer- And we're in a mansion, in the middle of a forest!" She tried to remember more details "There's a lake nearby, and a river as well... the mansion itself is also pretty big! ...Can you hear me?" Hiba paused and asked as she notices that now there was just a strong disturbance on the radio. "No...no no no- c'mon, work!" She held the radio tightly , but now no voice was even coming from it anymore. She gave up trying after a few moments and looked back to the handcuffs and gun. She hid the handcuffs in her pocket and then carefully adjusted the gun around her waist.

Vin had been looking around the second floor for a while before turning the corner and noticing a change in the wall on her right. "Huh... is that it?" She approached it and although nothing seemed to be different at first, when she turned around she noticed a ladder that didn't seem to be there before. She looked around for a moment to ensure no one was following her , then started crawling up on it. The more she climbed, the more she could see a whole room hidden there. Her head popped up first from the hole and when looking around, she was surprised and amazed by how nice that room looked compared to the rest of the mansion. Overgrown vines were covering its walls, and a nice scent of sweet flowers was also filling it. Sure it had some webs here and there, but the books on the shelves were adjusted so nicely that it barely looked like that room was very, very old. Vin crawled all the way in and cleaned her clothes, trying to figure out what it was. What took her attention the most, was a bunch of red flowers covering the table gently. Taken by curiosity, she approached them. She noticed something underneath tho, something she couldn't exactly distinguish, but yet it seemed like the flowers were holding it carefully. Vin started to move the flowers apart gently, without ripping them, and flower after flower the mysterious object was quickly revealed. A wonderful, ancient sword was laying there, frozen in time. Its blade was in perfect conditions, and its metal shined clean. She carefully took it in her hands in amazement and analysed it. When turning the handle and reading carefully on it, she could read a nice handwriting carved in the handle itself. "Vincent - Loyal Servant"
She made sure the preserve it as her own weapon.
