The rain was slowly getting lighter, and yet it never really stopped. Hiba tried and tried to find the car keys, but she never could. The thought that Alex had all the keys, of the police car and the car they came with, just made her think they were never going to leave. Not even in a coffin, perhaps. If they did end up like that police man, there was no way anyone would have found them. Just the thought made her shiver, but the strong roar of a thunder made her flinch and snap out of it. She didn't want to die, not like that. Thinking for a little, she reminded herself a police car would have had lot of useful things, so many that Alex probably didn't have time to steal and hide. The car was locked, but that didn't result into a problem- she lifted a stone from the ground and took a few steps back, before decidedly throwing it against the car's glass. Luna lifted her head with a slight gasp "W-what was that?!" She questioned to no one but herself, since Kris was still unconscious. She brought her eyes down towards the girl laying on the stone next to her and sighed softly "You better wake up-" She frowned, but just to hide the concern for her friend. She couldn't do much but wait, shifting slightly closer to the iron bars and leaning her back against the wall. Her mistake was to close her eyes ever so slowly, so tiredly, and in a vain attempt to make that nightmare end. -Creak- Her eyes opened widely, her pupils restraining as she increased her guard. It seemed to stop for a moment. -Creak,creak...- "W-who's there? Vin?" She asked, her voice cracking in between the questions. Yet again, it went quiet. "...Come out!" She clenched her fists, telling herself she wasn't scared, a liar. Her heartbeat said otherwise. It all went quiet, but right when she was about to calm down, a rat hopped out from the hole of a wall and ran across the room. "EEK- Yikes!" She flinched at first and looked at the beast slightly disgusted, but then laughed noticing that was the only, silly cause of the creepy noises. She stomped on the wooden floor trying to scare the little beast away; she did it once or twice, eventually leading the rat towards the door. Just as she was about to stomp once last time to make sure it would ran away, into the hall, she saw the animal getting crashed underneath the weight of someone else's foot, within even some blood splattering and a painful squeal, not to exclude the terrible sound of little bones cracking. Luna gasped and stumbled back, the need to throw up filling her. Her eyes followed the bloody shoe, then the leg, finally the sight of an open hoodie and a messy shirt, only to end up seeing Alex's unsettling smile. None of the spoke, and Luna just yelped at the sudden sight of the murderer, reacting by pushing her away roughly. "WHAT THE HELL! Stay away from us, freak!" Luna growled, barely recognizing her. That only caused the killer to laugh and after stumbling, she lifted a knife and exposed it in her hand, going for Luna. Somehow the girl didn't let her guard down and moved to the side, avoiding the stab. "A-Alex, I swear to god, if you don't-" She wasn't in time to finish that the other went for another stab, this time slashing a slight cut onto her shoulder but making Luna move so suddenly, that the movement of her arm knocked the weapon out of her grip. Still, while she was holding her wounded shoulder, the murderer went towards her and had her pushes against a wall with a hand on her mouth. "Oh, you're more of a challenging prey, aren't you?" She said with a laugh, but Luna kept on struggling. After glaring towards the unconscious girl and the burning fire next to her, Alex brought her attention back to the girl in front of her "I guess I'll have to burn it in your head, to mind your own business...". Without adding anything else but a chuckle of hers, she forced the victim to come along with her. She pushed her with violence onto the stone stairs and let her there, Luna holding her head and hissing in pain. Those few seconds of freedom from her tight grip were short, for the killer went back right to her and bowed down. Luna was grabbed from the back of her shirt and, having no choice but to look up, she could see the flames moving in front of her face. She teared up and even felt her breath missing at the high temperature, but the more she struggled, the more Alex tightened her grip and brought her closer and closer to the incinerator. "Say hi to Kris from me, will you?" "Alex, please, don't-" Her cry wasn't listened to, as her friend harshly shoved her whole head into the fire hearing a horrible scream of unbearing pain. The murderer held her there for seconds that seemed never-ending, yet something suddenly grabbed her leg and pulled on it so decidedly, that it caused Alex to gasp and fall back, having to let go of the girl. "Let her go!" Kris yelled, awake from a close-death, and yet finding energies to get rid of the killer. Luna was still groaning in pain as she fell to her knees, holding her face and curling up. Being pushed from the stairs, Alex had tripped and fallen back onto the ground, which gave Kris the chance to throw the blanket at her so she'd find it difficult to stand quickly again. It took a moment for Kris to make sure Luna was able to stand and leave, supporting her as well as the murderer struggled under the blanket. "I-I'm fine, I'm fine- don't worry, let's get going!" Luna said, still hiding her face with one hand as they both ran past the murderer. But noticing the knife still on the ground, she couldn't help but go for it and tighten it in her fist. "T-that's it-" She stuttered, approaching the moving blanket. "Luna? W-what are you doing??" Kris asked from the doorway, waiting for her friend and surprised by her pause. Luna growled under breath and lifted the knife, stabbing it right into the blanket, and watching it stop all of sudden with surprise, the knife shifting below the clothes. Shortly after the blood had started to spill on its cloth; Kris gasped, while Luna widened her eyes from what she had managed to do. "D-did you-" Kris wasn't in time to ask that the blade of the knife reappeared from right under the blanket, starting to slice it open and causing the two girls to scream simultaneously and start running.
Alex groaned as she ripped the blanket apart and stood, blood dripping down her arm from the wound Luna had given her.
"Oh, you little..." She said both irritated, but also chuckling quietly to herself and with her teeth clenched against each other.
