See not everybody believes in monsters and that's okay, that's why we're here. To help the non-believers stay ignorant and that's perfectly fine. Not everybody reacts well to the supernatural.
So, what do you do when you encounter something you always thought was a myth? Well if you survive the encounter do your research so if you ever encounter something like that again you'll be prepared.
The lore on a Wendigo says that these monsters are nearly impossible to kill. Guns wont hurt it and neither will knives. They are good hunters during the day and incredible hunters at night. It's been said that they use voice mimicry to lure you in. So this is how you know you are being tricked. If you think the Wendigo is going to use your voice or your partners voice keep a two-way radio on hand and when you start hearing the voice ask to make sure that the voice isn't them. It's also better to stay together. In the event you get separated keep emergency supplies such as flash lights, spare batteries and a flair and extra water with you on hand at all times, even if you don't think you'll need it. Wendigo's are immortal which means they gave been around for a very long time. It's been said that the Wendigo's first came into existence when they were once human. Sometimes an Indian or other times a frontiersman, a miner or hunter(Animal hunter). During harsh winters when food was at it's lowest point and a person found themselves starving they would become a cannibal to survive. Killing people from their own tribe or camp. Cultures believe that if you ate human flesh you could gain abilities such as speed, strength and immortality. If you eat enough of it you become this less-than-human thing. You're always hungry.
Now that we have discussed the lore of one of these things its time to discuss the appearance of one of this thing. Wendigos are humanoid, standing at over six feet. They appear emaciated with bones visible under their palled skin, a symbol of their unquenchable hunger. Wendigos eyes are pushed back deep in their sockets, and have many layers of crooked, sharp, teeth. They are equipped with razor-like claws used to rip prey to shreds. They are sometimes said to have matted fur and have chunks of skin and flesh missing, due to consumption.
If you still don't have a clear picture well maybe do your own research cause now we are going to discuss how to kill this thing. As I said before these things are hard to kill but it isn't impossible. What you'll need is fire or Anasazi symbols. If, for some reason you are out in the middle of the woods and you have all your emergency supplies you will have a flare. This can be an immediate fire source if you don't have anything else such as a camp fire set up. But if you don't have one hopefully you know what an Anasazi symbols look like because this will be your only hope for survival. Typically if you can draw an Anasazi symbol on the floor you can trap it like you would a salt circle and a demon; And like a salt circle it needs to stay closed, as soon as it breaks not even running can save you. They are fast, way faster than you could imagine. If they catch you they will take you back to their layer and keep you alive for as long as possible as they feast on your flesh.
(A/N: the difference between lore and the show is:◾Wendigo typically live in freezing cold climates around Northern Canada, Michigan and Minnesota. The Wendigo shown on the show, however, somewhat ironically appeared nowhere near their designated territory, instead appearing in Colorado and Mexico, of all places.
◾In lore, silver can kill the Wendigo. A final major difference in the lore as opposed to the show is that the Wendigo prefers to hunt at night in lore, thus making night in the woods and mountains even more dangerous. Wendigo are very rarely said to hunt in the day, this being their preferred time to feed on their victims)

So here's a new chapter for you guys. I wrote it a while back but I never got around to finishing it. Procrastination is one of my many talents. If there are any mistakes point them out and I'll get it fixed. Thanks in advance. :)
