Opening her eyes to a familiar face,  Kalera offers a slight smile.

"How are you feeling?" Hiddard asks.

"Hungry." She answers.

"You must be for you have been out for three moons." He said.

"What? How? Wait, we are quite still. Where are we?" She asks.

"The Isle of Dawn. The ship struck a reef not long after the storm. Jessup managed to help steer her close to land." He says.

"Jessup. He is more than I knew." She replies.

"What he is, the Brams has been searching for just as long as we had been searching for you. I just hope we can trust him." Hiddard says.

Hmm.

"I am here Mother." Xavgon interrupts.

"I know." She responds.

Bringing Kalera up to speed, she and Hiddard exit the tent locating everyone. Taking a seat around a fire, they discuss warnings from spies loyal to Brams. Kalera learns that Ager has dispatched warships to Ta'l. Citizens are being herded like cattle to the Golden Keep. Slaves are pouring in by the thousands as he offers freedom to those who will fight.

"Jessup, you know him better than any of us. What do you make of him offering freedom?" Kalera asks.

"If Ager is nothing else, he is a realist. He's buying time." He answers.

"Buying time for what?" Ask Tomas.

"Boilos. Lord Donegal you stared into the eyes of the monster. Ager has only one play to save his skin. But if it goes to hell, he will use all physical and magical power possible to find a way to safety." Jessup answers.

"Nowhere will be safe." Maliki responds.

"That's why I said magical." Jessup replies.

A horn sounds.

"What's that?" Kalera asks.

"Something I was hoping for." Jessup answers.

Everyone rises as a bulky, brown man, covered in tattoos from head to feet approaches.

"Micah" Kalera thinks.

Tomas, Ton, Molly, and Hiddard hurry after Jessup towards him, but he walks past all of them, heading for Xavgon.

Looking upon him in awe, he bows.

"Just like Micah." Jessup says with a smirk on his face.

"You know Micah?" Ask Molly.

"Yes." He responds.

"He has been a supplier to Bram and Toan for many moons." She replies.

Xavgon looks into Kalera's eyes and smiles as only a dragon can by squinting as Micah makes his way to his mother. He announces this land and all it has to offer rightfully belongs to the Dawn and Xavgon. The S.G.'s here are younglings, but powerful.

Jessup walks over and they both touch foreheads.

Ton, Molly, Hiddard, and Tomas individually touch foreheads with him to Jessup's surprise.

"So you are their supplier?" Jessup questions.

"I am, but they have also been as a family to me." He responds.

"Yet you never told them of me." Jessup says.

"I would never betray your trust nor theirs. It was best." Micah replies.
