I gulped as Brad's eyes met mine. Within seconds he was standing right in front of me.

"Luna Jackson..." he muttered, as if I were some sort of relic from the past. "What a surprise."

I was about to reply but he continued talking. "Haven't seen you around for a while."

"I'm glad," I said quietly.

"What was that?"

"N-nothing."

I hoped that if I talked as little as possible, he would go away. I had been trying my best to avoid him ever since I managed to break up with him five months ago, and until now I had been mostly successful.

Looks like I broke my winning streak.

"Good. We wouldn't want you to waste your pretty voice talking trash now, would we?" He reached up to caress my cheek, and only then did I realize that my back was firmly against the wall. His eyes stared deeply into mine. I shivered.

"Brad, I already told you we're over..." I said, but my voice only came out as a small whisper. He looked like he was going to say something, but his hand left my face just as quickly as it had arrived.

"I'll see you later."

Brad was gone in the blink of an eye. That was odd, but I was glad. I really didn't want to deal with him; not that I ever did, anyway. He was unpredictable, and as I learned the hard way, that happened to be one of the worst things about him.

After taking a quick look around, I finished the sign for my stall. I stepped back to examine my new masterpiece, and a smile spread across my face.

Today was the beginning of Task Week. Every student had a small booklet full of tasks, and we each had to choose one to complete for Task Week. I chose to run a stall. Each task also added to a different grade, meaning that if I pulled it off I wouldn't be flunking Business Class any more.

The stall I was running was a relationship advice stall. Yes, you might be wondering why someone who only ever dated one person would think of that. My friends always came to me when they needed relationship advice, so I managed to become good at giving it out. Maybe it came from having an older sister?

As if on cue, the bell rang to signify what would be the beginning of first period. We didn't exactly have lessons during Task Week, as we were busy completing our tasks. We could choose when we had our breaks, and as long as we had evidence of us finishing our task we could basically do whatever we wanted all week. Still, I knew I probably wouldn't see Axel that much, as he would be outside taking photos of creatures. He had to fill a whole folder of photographs, but he didn't care that much since he would be outside and it added to his Biology grade.

"Uh, hey," I heard a nervous voice say. I looked up to see a girl - most likely a first-year - at the other side of the stall. I flashed her a bright smile.

"Hi, welcome to Luna's relationship advice, what can I do for you today?"
