They had made a decision. Shane and Rick were out now, planning to take Randell and leave him somewhere.

I know he shot at daddy, Rick and Glenn. But, it still feels wrong to just leave him on his own out there. I guess it may be better than executing him, but is it really? We're basically killing him either way.

I was on the porch, sitting in the chair, humming, when Lori comes out. She looks at me. I haven't really talked to anyone but Maggie, after what Shane did. I didn't have to look in the mirror to know that my cheek was bruising.

"How are you hon?" She asks me. I shrug my shoulders.

    "I'm fine I guess." I answer her.

"Have you went to check on Beth in a while?" She asks, and I just shake my head. "You want to take her tray of food with me?" She asks me.

"I reckon so." I shrug. Figuring I had nothing better to do. I know she's just trying to make me feel better after what happened.

I get up and walk with her to get food for Beth, Maggie helps. Her and Maggie have a conversation about Glenn I think. But, I don't listen. When we finish I take the tray into Beth's room. Lori follows behind me.

Lori knocks on the door way, even though I'm already setting the tray down.

"How about this-- You, uh-- You eat up all your food, we'll get you up and out of here and go take a walk." Lori says to Beth, who just sits there. "What do you say? It'll do good to be outside."

"You're pregnant. How could you do that?" Beth says looking at the woman. I laugh a little to myself.

"Uh, I don't really have a choice." Lori responds, taken aback.

"You think it'll make a difference?" Beth asks.

"Of course it will." Lori says, and just looks at Beth. "You eat something." She says and then leaves the room.

I smile at Beth. She returns it with a small one, but anyone with eyes could tell she ain't in the right state of mind.

"Glad you're talkin' now Beth." I say and turn to leave. "Love you." I say and then leave the room.

An hour later

I'm walking with Maggie and Glenn. Maggie walks a little ahead of me and Glenn. I look over at him.

"Do you trust Shane?" I ask him. He looks at me with wide eyes, and then shrugs his shoulders.

"I don't know. He does some things that I don't agree with. Some of the time his decision are what's best for the group, but other times he just gets power hungry." He answers me. I nod.

"That's why he hit me. Why he argues so much with Rick. Disagrees with my dad." I say getting angry. "I hate him." Glenn looks at me.

"Yeah.." he says, not knowing what to say.

"He killed Otis." I say. "And, he's gonna kill somebody else. He's a psycho." I add looking ahead. He just looks at me, and I run catching up to Maggie, just as Lori runs up to us.
