[Chapter 31] Video Calls, Passports, and Boyfriends

Nayeon and Jeongyeon came down from the elevator, Jeongyeon laughing and Nayeon looking like she's a bit annoyed.

"—why did you even bother fixing it?" Jeongyeon laughed out.

"What should I do, just leave it hanging?" Nayeon said, walking to the rest of the unnies. "Hey," She casually greeted.

"Would you guys tell us what happened up there?" Sana asked.

"Well, technically," Jeongyeon explained with a mixture of laughter and seriousness, "Nayeon was nearing the end of her Santa Tell Me, when the banners at the background fell off from the hooks, and Nayeon here tried to reach for it to get it back up without looking back, and she did so, but she didn't get it back up, but instead the banner fully fell! Funny right!"

The others just stared at her judgingly. "Seriously, bro, I think you need some more sleep." Jihyo put a hand on Jeongyeon's shoulder.

"What?" Jeongyeon fake-pouted.

"Don't worry, you can meet Chaeyoung later, haha." Momo added.

Jeongyeon looked away from them as they continued walking.

They were silent for a minute until Jihyo gasped, "Oh, gosh, how are we going to shop for presents when we didn't even ask them what they like?" She scratched her head.

Mina thought about it, "Let's just buy whatever we think they would like, alright? It's not like they would play and use it once they turn back to normal..." She let her thoughts go astray.

"My presents for their real selves are actually already wrapped and hidden, it's sad that they won't even open it in Christmas," Sana sighed.

"At least we can still spend Christmas with them, right?" Momo tried to lighten up the mood. "Besides, the maknaes are really excited about the snow, I'm sure they're gonna be so happy this Christmas."

They reached the floor where the dance practice rooms are, turned on a corner and passed ITZY who just finished practicing.

"TWICE-sunbaenim!" Yeji bowed, followed by the other members. "How are you?"

"We're alright, just some hectic schedules considering that..." Jihyo pointedly raised her eyebrows, knowing that ITZY can understand what she meant since they once babysitted the maknaes.

"Oh!" Ryujin lowered down her voice, "How are they, actually? PD-nim told us that they have to remember things to turn back to normal?"

Suddenly, the practice room door opened and Chan, Felix, and Hyunjin of Stray Kids walked out noisily. They immediately noticed TWICE and ITZY and bowed in respect.

"TWICE-sunbaenim!" The boy group leader, Chan, greeted them. "You weren't in practice the past three days, or did I just not notice you?" He politely asked.

"Ah, no, no!" Jihyo laughed, but her mind was thinking for a made-up reason for their absence. Looks like TWICE's absence for even a couple of days affects the people around them. "PD-nim gave us a break since a lot of us has been sick lately." She lied carefully. "He gave us a break and not to mention that it's Christmas soon, so we'll not be around until 28 or so."

"That's if the maknaes would be able to remember alot by then." Sana mumbled to Jihyo who had a hard time understanding what she was saying since she said it a little too soft.

Jihyo elbowed Sana and she flinched in pain, but the three Stray Kids members did not notice it.

Felix frowned, "It maybe can be rude, but can I ask where Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu-unnies are?" He asked cautiously.
