Dahyun's P.O.V
As I was getting into the car with MiChaeng, I couldn't help but feel a little nervous. It's been a while since I've gone out on a proper date. It also didn't help a bit knowing that the person I was waiting for was possibly a complete stranger. What's done is done. It's not like I can jump out of the car and run back to the hotel. Or can I?
I was deciding whether to jump out or not when my thoughts were interrupted.
"Why are you acting like you're going to meet the First Lady?" Mina asked.
"Well since it's a blind date, you never know. What if my date turns out to be the First Lady?" Chaeyoung chuckled.
"Please, you're so full of yourself. You would think you have a chance with the First Lady." Mina said as she rolled her eyes.
"Alright alright, stop fighting. We're here." My mind went blank. We're here already? I wasn't physically or mentally prepared. Oh, what am I saying? I'm Kim Dahyun, I shouldn't be getting nervous. I thought to myself as we walked to the entrance of the new club called 'Breakthrough'.
I had alot of trouble deciding on what to wear but soon came to the conclusion that it doesn't really matter. I decided to go with a simple black crop top along with some simple black shorts.
Both Mina and Chaeyoung said it looked good so I just decided to stick with it.Right as we walked in, Jeongyeon called, telling us that they were at the upstairs VIP booths. As we were walking up the stairs I could hear Nayeon's obnoxiously loud laugh.
"There they are." Chaeyoung announced.
I looked up to see where they were pointing, when my line of sight automatically lands on the most beautiful person I've ever met.
There in all her glory sat the one and only, Sana Minatozaki. If I didn't think she was so beautiful before, right now she was absolutely breathtaking, with the sparkly curve hugging dress she wore, she talked to Nayeon.
I stood still. If anyone was able to make me feel insecure about myself, it would have to be her. It was as if she was the sun and everyone else was revolving around her. The bright stars to a dark sky.
Jeongyeon was the first one to notice us when she called us over. "Over here." She said as she waved us over.
Jeongyeon stood up and hugged each of us. I glimpsed over to Sana and saw that she was still engrossed in her conversation with Nayeon. I guess she hasn't noticed me yet.
"Hey y'all, Nayeon you know Dahyun. Sana, this is the single pringle we were talking to you about. Meet Kim Dahyun."
Sana's P.O.V
"Meet Kim Dahyun." Hold up. Did I hear that right? Kim Dahyun? As in thee Kim Dahyun? What am I gonna do?!
"Hi." I said as I smiled. This will have to do for now. I'll just put up an act for today and hopefully this whole 'date' doesn't go so well and she'll stop talking to me. Even if I really didn't enjoy the narcissistic personality she has, I couldn't help but notice how simple yet good looking her outfit made her look. I'm not going to lie, she really is attractive physically, but the way she acts doesn't really do it for me.
"Alright everyone take a seat so we can order." Jeong yelled over the loud music.
There seems to be no waiters around our table. I should go look for someone.
"I'll go get some menu's." I told the group.
"No, it's fine. You stay here. I'll go bring them." To my surprise, it was Dahyun who offered. Her unexpected chivalry caught me off guard. "O-Oh, okay." I replied. Why did I stutter? Get yourself together Sana.
Dahyun soon came back holding a couple of menu's and alongside her was what I believe was the waitress.
They seem to be having a pretty good conversation because from my point of view, all I see is the waitress laughing at literally anything Dahyun says. What's so funny that she has to laugh so obnoxiously loud? I thought as I rolled my eyes."Okay I'm back guys. This is Wendy." Oh so that's her name. Psh, whatever.
"Hello everyone, my name is Wendy and I will be your waitress for today."
We proceeded with our main meals and then got to the drinks.
"Ah yes, may I get a mimosa, please?" I heard Dahyun say.
"What? That's weak Dahyun, you're like the heaviest drinker I know. Why only a mimosa?" I heard Chaeyoung tell her.
"Nope. Not today, I have to be on my best behavior." Dahyun said, followed by a gummy smile. It made me chuckle, how goofy she can be at times, even though I just met her. That still doesn't take away her arrogance though.
We spent most of our time while eating, chatting as a group. Even if I spent most of my time talking to Nayeon, I couldn't help but notice that Dahyun was awfully quiet. Along with the quietness, she had barely touched her food, and kept tapping her left leg.
Not that I'm no professional but I would think that she was nervous. That's ridiculous though. How on Earth would the most conceded person in the world be nervous?Part 2 tomorrow :)
