ES Au: Blue and Yellow Adventure

Part 6

Previously: Lazuli went to go check on Speed. He was still unconscious, but was fine. Her dad was there too. She ended up telling him that they were rescuers. After he woke up, he apologized to her on what he did and she forgave him. He also gained the memories of Frost and his brother, Black. A week after the events, the two eevees meet Black and became friends.

Weeks later...

Frost went to protect Black from wild pokemon, but died. Speed and Lazuli were heart broken, to see thier friend die. But they went to find Black they knew he would be in the most pain. They found him by a beach, staring into the horizon.

Speed: Hey... It's us again...

Lazuli: Are you okay?

Black said nothing. That sat down next to him.

Lazuli: We heard what happened... We're sorry about Frost...

Speed: Do you want to talk about it?

Black: I... I don't know to believe anymore... It happened so fast...

Speed: Life can be scary, and sad... but you can make it better if you don't give up.

Black: First mom and dad... now Frost...

Lazuli: You still have us, and all of your other friends.

Black: You think so...?

Lazuli: I know so! I mean, as long as we live in this world, there's pain... But there's hope too.

Black: Just so it can be stripped away from you again and again...?

Lazuli: Of course not.

Speed: She's right. I mean, one day, ther will be someone strong protecting us all.

Black: Yeah... and that someone has to be you.

Speed: Me...?

Black: You're the one who came up with this idea. If it wouldn't be you, who else?

Lazuli: He does have a point. You do always save me from things.

Speed: I'm not good enough. And you have saved me from way more things, so if it should be anyone, it should be you.

Lazuli: No way.

Black: (chuckles) I've been meaning to ask, are you two dating or something?

Speed/Lazuli: (Blushed really hard) WE ARE NOT DATING!!!

Black: (Surprised, but chuckles) O-okay, okay... (sighed) anyways, thanks for cheering me up.

Speed: (still blushing a bit from question) Y-yeah... No problem...

Lazuli: (still blushing a bit from question) W-we're glad we can help.
(Back to normal) By the way, with Frost gone, what are you going to do now?

Black: I don't know...

Speed: I have an idea. How about you work as a mailman at mail HQ?

Lazuli: That's not that bad. How about it?

Black: It doesn't sound that bad, but do you think they'll accept me?

Lazuli: Of course!

He thought about it for a while. Until he got up.

Black: It's getting late now. I'd better go home.

Speed: We can walk you home if you want.

Lazuli: Is it okay?

Black: Sure... Hey...

Speed: Yes?

Black: You two didn't tell me your names.
