ES Au: Blue and Yellow Adventure

Part 8

Perversely: Speed and his siblings went to the movies. They met Trace along the way. Speed was excited to give Lazuli the necklace when he suddenly felt multiple bad emotions. Speed was starting to be worried about Lazuli. Lazuli never came to the theater and was missing for the entire week. When Speed talked to Spike, he told Speed that Mr. Alfred got arrested, Mrs. Lapis died, and Lazuli and Leaf were missing. Speed went out to find them. When he finally found them in a cave, Lazuli told Speed what happened. Speed decided to let Lazuli and Leaf live with him from now on.

A week later...

Everything was going back to normal. Well, as normal as they could get. Trace and Spike were happy that Lazuli was fine. Lazuli and Leaf showed no problems to Speed and his siblings. Crystal talks to Lazuli and Leaf alot. She even sometimes call them her "new sisters" she could hang out with. Lazuli is fine with Crystal, but can get annoyed by her at times. Leaf had a hard time talking to Crystal, but opened up to her over time. Speaking of Leaf, she and Flare already are best friends. It tooked them awhile to talk to each other, but when they finally did, they had a hard time trying to stop. Speed and Lazuli were also closer as well. Ever since the "Incident" they decided to take some time off as rescuers and spend time with their family and each other. They spend some of their time hanging out in town. Until...

Speed: I'm bored...

Lazuli: Yeah... What should we do?

Trace: I don't know...

Speed: Well there has to be something...

???: E-excuse me.

They turned around and saw Silvia.

Speed: You again? What do you want?

Silvia: I-I need help with something. Is it okay if you help?

They all looked at each other.

Lazuli: Well, we don't really have anything to do so...

Speed: Okay.

Silvia: T-thank you... Follow me...

They all were walking somewhere. Silvia went to Speed. She was sad.

Silvia: Speed?

Speed: Yeah?

Silvia: Sorry...

Speed: Don't be. It was my fault. I shouldn't have yelled.

Lazuli was watching this.

Lazuli: What's going on?

Trace: Speed told me while you were missing, they crossed paths again. He asked her why she kissed him and she said to make you jealous or something.

Lazuli looked away.

Lazuli: (Under her breath: Well it did work...)

Trace What?

Lazuli: N-nothing...

Trace: Anyways she kept on trying to tease him that he had a crush on you.

Lazuli blushed a bit.

Lazuli: W-what?

Trace: He was already upset that you were gone, so the last thing he needed someone making fun of him. He yelled at her. So much that she actually ran off crying.

Lazuli: Really?

Trace: Yeah. When I heard you were missing, I was pretty sad. But I couldn't bring myself to tell Speed... He was already miserable. He didn't smile, he hated jokes, and he was always sad. It was like he was a different person.
