~Gabriel~

It's been months since Ivy left. It has been six months, two weeks, three days and four hours since she left.

No, I am not fucking crazy, I just miss my girl.

Anyway, I have been keeping busy. I go to UC Berkeley and I study Business Administration and management. I don't know but I am tryna make bank when I'm older and hopefully Ivy and I can do it together.

I guess you're wondering how we are back in California, we are cooling.

The twins are doing good in school so far, I commute to school every day to stay with them and the Black Mambas and I are making peaceful business with other gangs.

Yes, by that I do mean drugs.

Things have been good around here.

Ivy calls every day to talk to the twins and tell us about how she is enjoying New York and all the little coffee shops they have on every block.

She says, "It's almost like, they all make different kinds of coffee."

What a strange place. She also says it gets cold as fuck like I'm talking temperatures in the 20's!

Hell NO!

As a loyal Californian man, I could never voluntarily subject myself to such SUFFRAGE.

I am happy, however, that she is enjoying her life there and experiencing a different environment, one that she has always wanted to experience.

I just miss her a lot, that's fair right?

I walked into the house and took off my shoes. The house was quiet...Too quiet.

I walked upstairs to where the twins' rooms were and knocked on Analisa's door.

"Come in," she said quietly.

I walked in and saw her sitting on the other side of her bed with her back facing me.

"Hey Lisa, how was school?" I said leaning against the door.

She shrugged and stood up to get her jacket.

"It's almost time for therapy," She said brushing past me to walk downstairs.

Yeah, the twins have therapy now. I was not all that surprised, I mean with everything that they went through, I can only imagine how they must feel. They say that the aftermath of it all is sometimes the worst. They started about two or three months ago.

I walked across the hall and knocked on Angelo's door. I didn't hear anyone answer so I decided to enter myself and I found him sleeping like a baby on his bed.

"Angel, we gotta get you to therapy on time," I said as I shook his shoulders slowly.

"Mom..?"

"N-no..sorry to wake you.." I said stepping back and scratching the back of my head.

Sometimes he gets nightmares and I hate waking him up because it usually leaves him startled and unsettled.

"It's okay, let me get my jacket, I'll be downstairs in a minute." He said.

I nodded and walked out of the room and closed the door.

Things have been good around here.

I walked downstairs and saw Lisa sitting in a chair with her sneakers on looking up at the chandelier that hung from the ceiling.

I decided to sit down across from her, hoping to make conversation.

"So, are you excited to be starting middle school next year?" I asked with a smile.

"No."

"Middle school is fun!"

"Why are you lying?"

"What makes you think I'm lying?"

"You're always lying."

"Lisa...I just want to make you guys smile."

"Stop trying so hard." She said as she stood up and walked into the kitchen, closing the door behind her.

Sometimes...scratch that. Most of the time, it's hard to make conversation with Analisa. Ever since everything died down she has been more to herself about things.

I didn't know that the drama and previous events had taken such a toll on them until Angel came to me and told me that Lisa had multiple panic attacks and usually comes to sleep in his room with him because she just can't sleep.

That's when I decided to get them professional help. I didn't know how to talk to them about what they were feeling. I sat them both down and asked them if they were both in agreement to see a therapist to help them with their emotions, and they agreed.

I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and I looked up to see Angel coming to put his shoes on. I looked down and sighed before I stood up.

Things have been good around here.

I am making sure of it.
