A/N: Don't listen to the song until you get to that part of the story, you'll know..trust me.

~Angelo~

I sat in the car looking at the window at the dark figure of the trees passing by. I sighed and looked to my left to see my older brother, Gabriel, focused on the road and my sister was in the back playing some game on her phone. I leaned my head back and allowed the music in the car to invade my thoughts.

"Aw Ivy popped off on this painting!" Lisa said, shoving the phone on the console between Gabriel and I.

As the car pulled up to a red light, I picked up the phone and admired the way she blended the colors. I looked over at Gabriel and saw his jaw tighten as he looked the other way. I never asked about her or anything, I guess we just got caught up in other things.

"You don't wanna look? I mean look how pretty it looks!!" Lisa said as she scrolled through Ivy's Instagram page.

"No, I'm good.." He said in a hushed tone as his hands gripped the steering wheel a little tighter.

Ana looked at him with a concerned look and then looked back at me, I shrugged and gave her a look that said: "Now probably isn't the time dumb ass."

When we pulled into the driveway, Lisa and I hopped out and walked into the house, when I looked back I saw Gabriel practically dragging himself into the house. When he was finally in, he closed and locked the door and took off his shoes.

Lisa looked at him and when his eyes met hers, I swear I saw him shiver a little bit.

"I-is something wrong..?" He asked quietly.

"I mean, why don't you wanna talk about Ivy, isn't she your girlfriend-" She started but stopped when she noticed the look on his face.

Pure sorrow filled his eyes and he hunched over a little more than he was before, he slowly slipped his hands into his pockets and looked at the floor.

"Um, not exactly, I just, I don't wanna talk about it right now." He mumbled.

I frowned. "If you guys need anything, just call me." He said as he turned on his heels and slowly walked upstairs to his room.

"Estúpido. ¿Porqué preguntarias eso?" I asked annoyed as I looked at her.

"It was a simple question, don't call me stupid, how was I supposed to know they weren't dating." She retorted defensively.

I sighed, I went into the kitchen and opened the fridge to see it was fully stocked with food. I could tell Gabriel was trying his best and I felt bad that I didn't know much about him or how to help.

"Maybe she left because she was tired of him being in a gang." She said with attitude laced with her words.

I rolled my eyes at her statement, "We don't even know why he originally joined? I mean if he saw dad and how he turned out, do you honestly think he chose the life because he wanted to?" I shot back.

"He chose it regardless Angel! He chose to put us in danger, he didn't even care about what happened to us, just like dad! Selfish and doing things for his own benefit. I mean look at this house, it's big for fucking what?? We could have just stayed where we were!" She shouted.

"There's something about it we don't know Lisa, there are two sides to everything!" I said desperately trying to get her to understand.

"Bullshit!" She said angrily.

Suddenly, It was silent until I heard shuffling behind Lisa and looked to see it was Gabriel.

"Damnit," I said under my breath.
