Unfamiliar Dream

Y/N'S POV

It was close to midnight already. You slowly opened your eyes and looked around.

"Oh? How did I end up in bed again?"

You felt a hand holding yours. You looked down at your bedside and found a sleeping Yoongi quietly knocked out.

"Yoongi?"

Your gaze went towards the bowl of water and towel he was using to bring your fever down. You couldn't help but to smile.

"You stayed and took care of me." You whispered as you stared at his peaceful face.

You turn to lay on your side and carefully curled into a ball closer towards him.

"This is the Yoongi I know. The kind and caring.. who used to always smile.." you carefully removed a piece of hair away from his eyes. You felt his hand gripping onto yours tighter.

"Mhm.. you're right.." Yoongi replied with a husky voice, opening his eyes. "I'm sorry, Y/N. For the way I've been acting towards you. Do you think you can ever forgive me?"

You nodded and gave him a soft smile, "I forgive you."

Yoongi then suddenly moved up closer and soon his lips was gently touching yours. You closed your eyes and responded back to his kiss. Now your heart finally felt at ease and you were happy. Yoongi caressed your cheek with his free hand and slowly pulled away, but still inches close to you.

"I love you, Y/N."

Your cheeks starts to blush into a light pink shade.

"I love you too, Yoongi."

He cheekily grinned and brushed the tip of his nose against yours then pulled away. He went and got you some painkillers to take along with a glass of water.

You took them and he held your hand, kissing the back of it.

"Get some rest. I'll stay right here with you."

You shyly smiled, nodding. You took one last look at Yoongi before closing your eyes then dozed off to sleep feeling safe knowing he was right next to you.
