Unfamiliar Dream

Yoongi drove you both to your hometown to visit the parts you've forgotten. It was a long drive so it took a while.

Yoongi stopped by the elementary school you both attended, but nothing. Yoongi stopped by your favorite places, but still no memories.

Yoongi then decided to drop by at the playground.. the last place he was waiting for you.

"I was waiting for you here... until I was told you passed away." Yoongi held your hand and walked with you towards the playground.

For some reason you can hear kids laughing in the background even though the place was empty. Then suddenly, you heard it.

"Y/N ah..."

that little kid's voice..

"Y/N ah..."

You closed your eyes and it suddenly became clearer.

"Y/N ah! Come get me!"

You can see the little boy running around trying to get away from you.

"Y/N ah, hurry up!" The kid giggled, gesturing you to come over.

You opened your eyes and stared at the playground. Yoongi softly rubbed your hand.

"Y/N.. are you okay?"

You pointed at the slide, copying what you heard in your head.

"Y/N ah.. hurry up. I promise. I promise that I'll always wait for you.."

Yoongi was shocked. Those were the exact words he had said to you when you were upset because he didn't wait for you.

"Y/N ah! It is you! I finally found you!" Yoongi grabbed both your arms in excitement.

"Y/N ah?"

You suddenly felt weak and fainted from everything that was going on in your head.

"Y/N ah!"

Yoongi carried you bridal style into the car and drove to the nearest hospital.

YOONGI'S POV

"Hang in there, Y/N.."

Y/N was admitted to the hospital for a quick check up. Luckily the doctor told you it was nothing serious but a minor headache and that she needed rest as regaining her memories can use up a lot of energy.

You held her hands and placed them against your cheeks.

"I'm sorry. I promise I'll take better care of you." You whispered.

Y/N starts to open her eyes and slightly squeeze your hand.

"Y/N ah.." She gave him an assuring smile. "I'm okay."

"You need to rest." You said, brushing your thumb across her forehead.

She pouted her lips. "I don't wanna stay in the hospital.."

You took a sigh then kissed her head.

"Fine. We can go to my parent's. It's nearby. You can rest there and I'll stay be your side."

She nodded as you carefully helped her up.
