YOONGI'S POV

You sat there listening then it suddenly hit you.

"Wait, how old did you say she was?"

"She was 9."

"How did she...? What happened to her?" You asked again curiously.

"I believe they said she was in the car accident nearby."

Chungha slightly raised a brow in confusion. "Are you okay?"

"Could it be...?" You thought to youtself. "Maybe... maybe..."

"I'm sorry, but do you remember the exact area?" You asked hastily.

Y/N just stared at you, grabbing onto yout arm.

"Yoongi, why..."

You interrupted her words.

"Please. I need to know!"

"It was around ****** area." Chungha answered, scanning at Yoongi's reactions suspiciously.

"No.. it can't be... all this time... Y/N was alive?" Your brows furrowed as you thought to yourself confused.

Chungha asked you directly, "You know her.. don't you?"

You were taken back from Chungha's sudden question then slowly nodded which you quickly shook your head.

"Maybe.. I don't know.."

Y/N looked at you with a surprised look. "What is that supposed to mean?"

You looked at Y/N in the eyes and hesitantly answered, holding her hands.

"I-I... when I was little I knew someone with the same name. I knew her since preschool. We would always hang out together. She was my best friend. Then one day.. I was told she died in a car accident."

"That's why at the beginning I was treating you the way I did... I told myself that you weren't her because she died.. I tried so hard to push you away from me but I couldn't.."

You raised your hand and caressed her cheek.

"I told myself to accept the fact that she was gone and you were a different person. But now that I know there's a good possibility that you are her..."

"I can't let you go again.. I will never let you go again.. I swear to you.." You thought to yourself.

Y/N'S POV

Chungha decided to leave and let Yoongi and I talk things through as we both try to figure out what exactly happened.

You and Yoongi talked all night and you told him about the dreams you've been having since then and how you figured out your name. But still, you couldn't remember a single thing from the past.

"How about this weekend we go visit our hometown? The places we used to always go to.. Maybe that could help you remember."

Yoongi suggested the idea. You felt a little uneasy about it for some reason, but if it could clarify a few things then maybe it was worth it. You nodded and agreed. You sent him home as it was getting late.

Later on as you lay in bed, you couldn't stop thinking about the situation.

"Is that why Yoongi looked so familiar?"

You thought back to your first meeting with him. And if it was true, then it was a miracle that you both ended up finding each other again. But for some reason, you kept having an uneasy feeling about something.
