The next day, you closed your locker door you spotted Yoongi walking towards your direction.

"Why does his face look so familiar? Why can't I remember who he looks like?" You thought to yourself.

Yoongi didn't even give you one look or one word and just walked by as if you were a stranger.

"Oh no you don't." You said as you grabbed onto his backpack and pulled him back, sticking your index finger in his face.

"Listen here mister. Why are you ignoring/avoiding me? I demand an answer now!"

YOONGI'S POV

You stared down at her, looking past her finger to her sincere eyes.

"So? Are you gonna answer me?"

You smirked and push her finger away from your face.

"This is how I am. Get used to it."

You could see the sadness developing in her eyes.

"Please don't start crying.." you thought to yourself, feeling guilty and worried.

"What do you mean this is how you are? The Yoongi I know is kind and nice. Besides, I thought we were friends." She said in a broken tone.

"Come on, Yoongi... you gotta turn away quick.." Your thought started hitting you.

"The Yoongi you thought was wrong. I guess you don't know me well enough."

You snickered then walked away, leaving her behind speechless.

"I'm sorry, Y/N..."

Y/N'S POV

You stood there unable to murmur a word. You spent your time in history class unfocused. You were dazing off into your own little world.

Jungkook noticed as he was sitting next to you, worried. Even during lunch, you never took a single bite of your food. You just sat there, lightly poking your chopsticks into your food as you rest your chin on your free hand looking a daze.

Yoongi walked by the table with Rose and saw your expression. He stared blankly feeling guilty then suddenly faked a giggle pretending he was listening to Rose.

"Y/N? Y/N??" Jungkook waved his hands in front of your eyes and you regained back to reality.

"Are you okay? You seemed out of it all day."

You shook your head and sighed softly.

"It's just Yoongi.. but why am I feeling like this?" You thought to yourself. "He's just a friend and he is right.. I don't know him well.. but why..?" You placed your hand over your chest. "Why does it hurt so much..?"

Jungkook sighed and matched his eye level with you.

"Is it because of Yoongi?"

You heard Yoongi's name and your eyes widened.

"W-What..."

"To be honest, Yoongi hyung is a nice guy. But I don't know why he's acting this way. Maybe give him some time and everything will be okay again."

Jungkook said to comfort you, but somehow it didn't ease your heart. You only nodded and took his advice.
