"I can't do this anymore!" I yelled in frustration.

"But there's no way out. You know they'll kill us." Grace reminded me.

"There has to be some way, I'm sure of it." Alyssa attempted to be positive.

"Artemis, Persephone, Iaso. You girls are going to be late for your training." My mother yelled through my closed bedroom door.

"We have to find a way out." Grace sighed, rubbing my back in a comforting manner.

*Grace ( Artemis ) POV*

Age: 10

"Focus on your target. Make yourself completely silent to avoid being seen." My instructor said before handing me a bow and arrow.

I nodded and stood infront of the targets. I locked in on the bullseye, and made myself as silent as I could. I released the arrow and hit the bullseye.

"Have you practiced with a bow before? I have never seen anyone this young hit the bullseye on their first try. Let alone be that good with a bow without any previous instructions." My instructor asked in shock.

"No." I answered quietly.

Age 12

"You should pick up a secondary weapon. A bow is perfect for far away, but if you have to take part in hand to hand combat it will do you no good." My father spoke.

"What do you suggest I try?" I asked.

"Knives were always my favorite." My mother suggested. I turned around and saw her come down the stairs in an elegant ball gown.

"Ready sweetheart?" She asked my father, he nodded.

"We have a mission tonight so we won't be back untill tomorrow. You will be staying with Iaso and her family." My father said.

"Be safe, love you." I said nonchalantly. I left to my room to pack an over night bag.

While my parents are some of the top people in the mafia, I prefer to keep my circle small. Of course everybody in the mafia knows who I am but I only trust two. Morgan and Alyssa.

Age 14

Top of my class, and I absolutely hate it. I enjoy the exercises and the practice, but I could never do this to a real person. If it meant I would die, ok I'll fight back. But for the gain of the mafia, no way.

"Congratulations sweetheart! You'll be running missions with us in no time." My father said enthusiastically when I told them.

"Your father and I want you to have this." My mother handed me two black velvet boxes.

I set them down on the table as the one box was quite large. I opened that one first and pulled out a brand new bow.
