Chapter 19

Michael's POV

Kate and I had picked some random show, and made the others watch it with us. It few minutes till midnight, when the 4th episode finished. Kate wiggled out of my grip, saying that she had to go get something. It felt weird that Kate wasn't in my arms and honestly, I have no idea why. I mean, I can't like her. And more importantly, she did not like me. I knew that for a fact. Yet, I loved the feeling of her in my arms, and her cuddled with me. Someone cleared their throat, causing me to look up. Kate stood in front of me, with Chris and Niall by her side. I sat up and raised my eyebrow. Kate looked over to the clock and I followed her gaze. It was midnight.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Kate, Chris and Niall shouted in unison.

I was shocked, but smiled. "Thanks guys."

A coruse of happy birthdays where where spoken. Kat came and sat be side me. She pulled me into a hug.

"Hayypy Birthday Cliffy." She whispered in my ear.

"Thanks." I whispered as she pulled away.

"Here you go." Kat said.

She was holding a small green gift bag, with red tissue paper on the top. I cocked my head to the side.

"Kat, you didn't have to get me anything.' I said, shaking my head.

"Well sorry to disappoint you, but I did. So now you need to open it."

I laughed and took the bag from her hands. I pulled out the tissue paper and pulled out what ever waas in the bag. I sat there, staring at the two video games she had gotten me. No fuckin way. I looked at her in shock.

"If you don't like them-" I cut her off my tackling her to the couch.

"Thanks you, thank you, thank you!" I exclaimed as I hugged her.

"I'm gald you liked it." She laughed.

"I love it! You're the best!" I kissed her cheek as I pulled away.

"Hey!" Calum whined. "I thought I was the best!"

"It's okay Cal, I still love you!" Luke said, sitting is Calum's lap.

He groaned and pushed Luke off. We laughed and Kat turned to me.

"So, you want to play?"

I raised my eyebrow. "You know how to play?"

Kat blushed. She's so cute -wait. What? "No, but it wouldn't hurt to learn. You never know, I could date a famous gamer."

"Well, I'll teach you. But, I have to meet your famous gamer boyfriend."

"You can't meet yourself." Niall mumbled, causing Em to glare at him.

He said it loud enough for me and the boys to hear, not including her brothers who were sleeping. By the look on Kat's face, she didn't hear him. I ignored Niall and gave Kat a smile, who returned it.

"Come on Kate," I said, putting in the game and grabbing in the controllers. "Let's play."
