Chapter Eight: Brother

Mark's POV

"Jinyoung just take me home."

"Date me."

"Wait...what?"

"Mark will you be my boyfriend?" I stood there looking into his eyes.  Dark brown and deep. 

"How do I know you won't play me? Use me? I'm not going to be your toy." I watch his face quickly change from calm to worry.

"I won't I promise."

"Piny swear?" Without hesitation he intertwined our pinkies.

"Stamp it."   I demanded and he pressed our thumbs together.

"Ok, NOW take me home."

"Kiss first."  He wrapped me in tight grips with his arms and I just smile.

"Get off me!"

"Then kiss me!" He giggled and I just press my hands against his cheeks and softly placed my lips on his.  That soft long peck that I've wanted for so long finally came at that moment and I couldn't help but over flow with happiness. 

"Thank you."  He put me down and started to walk to his side of the car.

"Come on". He says as he opens the drivers side of the car door.

"Coming." I said running to the car door.  Once I got in I plopped in the seat and fastened my seat belt. 

"Okay lets-"

"Shh!" Jinyoung stopped me from talking.  When I looked back towards him he pointed his finger towards the back, right at a sleeping Jeongin.  I smile and giggle a bit as Jinyoung starts to drive and turn on some soothing music.

"Mom, I'm home!" I yelled at the front door cause I had a sleeping Jeongin on my back.  The door opened and she looked at the boy on my back. 

"Is he ok?" She asked moving out of the way so I could get in the house.

"Yeah, he's just tired.  Could you get his shoes please?" I slipped my shoes off slowly as my mom pulled Jeongin's shoes off.

"Oh ok, what is going on?"  The smell of food hit my face to where I could barely focus but I snapped back into talking with my mother. 

"Mom, he has to stay here...his dad is abusing him.  Please?" She stood there in shock before she responded. 

"Y-yeah, how ever long he needs to, do you know him though?"

"Not really he's an early senior, i haven't seen him before so I don't know if he's new or not."

"Oh ok, anyway get him washed up, dinner will be ready soon."

"Ok, thanks Mom."  I hoist Jeongin on my back a little more so I can get up the stairs.

"Stay still!"

"Your putting to much pressure on it!"

"You have to stay still so I don't!"

"Fine!"  Jeongin continued to whine ad I put ointment on his newer bruised cuts and so on. 

"There, now put your shirt on tiny mom said dinners done."  I said with a smile.

"Hyung wait!" He yelled with his shirt slipping over his head. 

"Yeah?" Once his head slipped through the color he ran to me with the cutest smile showing me his braces once again. 

"Let's go together!" He said slowly grabbing my hand.

"Ok."

"So what is this about?"  My dad looked at Jeongin with a sweet smile as he sat down joining us for dinner. 

"This is Yang Jeongin dad, but I have a favor to ask you "  I hesitantly wait for either my mom or dad to answer. 

"What is it?" Jeongin looked at me just as curious as mom does as she asked the question.

"I think we should adopt him." I said and Jeongin went wide eyes and so did my parents. 

"W-well I was thinking since he's been through all this abuse that w-we could get a restraining order on his dad to p-protect him?"  All of it was more of a question. But Jeongin lays his head on my shoulder.

"Hyung you don't need to." I looked at him and he had sad eyes but a joyful smile.

"We do for your safety....mom, dad.  At least think?" I begged them and they just smiled.

"Of course, Jeongin welcome to the family." My dad said with a sweet smile. 

"R-really?"  Jeongin had tears in his eyes and I hug him. 

"Of course."  I whispered and he hugged me back. 

"Thank you so much hyung." I felt his breathing start to hitch.  He's crying....he let go and looked at my parents with loving eyes. 

"Thank you so much...really."  my mom smiled. 

"You can call us mom and dad now, ok?"  She said getting up and giving him a hug. 

"Thanks ms-mom." He said with a ful flustered heart.  I'm glad... he'll happy from now on.
