Nightwing is awake!

"Ra...chel" it was a weak whisper from Peter, that there wasn't complete silence in the room nobody would have heard it. But that whisper for Raven was loud enough to make her explode out of her seat "Peter oh god." she rushed  over to his side immidiately, the first thing she did was to look if he was awake and to her disapointment he wasn't but the fact that he talked gave her so much happiness that she smiled and looked at him. Kori who left minutes ago to get some water,  rushed  in with the rest of the heroes "Raven what happened ?" she asked "He talked." she answered running her hand through his hair  "What did he say?" Zatanna "He whispered my name." Rachel explained "That's excellent news Miss Roth. It means his senses are starting to come back." Alfred smiled and placed his hand on her shoulder and looked at Peter whose face was more peaceful than before. And at that moment someone else spoke "Quiet can't a hero take a nap here." everyone knew who it was "Nightwing is awake!" shouted Wally "Oh god, Dick i missed you so much." Kori said but before Dick could answer he was beeing suffocated in a hug from Kori "Kori you maybe wanna let go now because im gonna suffocate." he said as Starfire let go  of the hug "Master Richard tell me, you have a headache, feel dizzy or anything of that kind."  Alfred leaned over Dick "No Alfred, im alright. How long have i been out?" he asked "Couple of hours." the Butler answered "what did i miss." Dick asked forcing himself up enough to see Peter on the other bed "No..." he whispered "Don't worry he is going to be fine." Kori said and help Dick to get up "Any pain Master Richard?" Alfred asked "Actually yeah, my right side of ribs." he said "It is a bruise the tests showed you have no broken bones." Dick looked again at Peter "What did his tests show?" Nightwing looked at Alfred "He wasn't as lucky. His whole body is a wreck but the worst tinjuries are on his spine and neck. Also many broken bones that most of them should be repaired by now." Dick looked confused at Rachel "His healing Factor." she explained  "And how are you? I remembered the box you opened had the bomb inside." Dick asked and Rachel looked at him for some seconds before answering "He made his body a shield for me. He went through glass panes and walls to keep me unharmed." At the end of er speech she was looking at the floor and Dick was up, obviously walking slowly he put a hand on her shoulder, she turned and looked at him "I know Peter really well, i mean not as well as you of course but i know that what he did, he knew it would have consequences. So you'll see when he wakes up he is gonna hug you, kiss you and tell you how much he loves you." Raven looked at Kori and then at Peter and back to Dick "Then i hope he wakes up soon." She took hold of Peters hand, Dick turned to look at Kori and then he turned to Raven "Tell you what. I will go have a shower, eat something and we will come here and wait with you. And its not a question." he smiled and walked out of the room, Kori came and kneeled next to Raven "We will probably need and around an hour. Are you fine by waiting or you want me to stay here?" she asked "Go enjoy now that he is awake." Raven smiled and Kori left the room. To be honest the silence was peacful, she remembered that when he spoke, and the thing he said was her name. It could have been so many more things but he put all his strength to just whisper HER name. She looked at him with a smile that behind it she hid happiness, stress, anxiety, sadness and most important love. "If you are hearing Pete when you wake up you will have a really hard time escaping from my hug." with that she placed her head on Peter's chest, going up and down from its inhale and exhale. "And i promise that it will be a really hard time." she whispered before she let her need for sleep consume her.
