Addicted To You (Spider-Man x Raven)

The Demon (is) Within.

~2 Days Later~

Everything got back to normal, it's been two days after Trigon had his most powerful try to get out but Raven with the help of all the other Titans managed to keep him imprisoned.  Peter has had a few good doses of sleep since then. Things in the tower started looking up again and everyone was really happy about that but also, ready for anything. They've learned from beeing heroes that if fate smiles at you for a long time... something bad is going to happy. And how right they were...

Peter was chilling in the main room of the Titans tower, watching Tv while eating some chimichangas (Wait chimichangas? Damn you Deadpool) the others had left the tower before he woke up. He didn't really cared to call because Rachel left him a letter next to his head on the bed to make sure he sees it when he wakes up which was saying: 

Me and the others have gone out for patrol, since you haven't been 100% we all agreed that you should stay at the Tower. Do not dare to come  out because the next thing that will happen to you will be a spell that won't let you leave the tower. While you are there please try and don't do anything stupid like... uh, blow up the building etc.

When he read that, he was so close to go out but then again he though... is that spell she talked about a bluff? Because he knows her well enough to know that she doesn't joke around for serious matters. And this one seemed really serious to her. So doing as he was told he stayed inside "Hmph, like anything's gonna come up." he said to calm himself. And at that moment his communicator starts ringing "Yeah?" he said as he answered "It's Nightwing. We got trouble, sending you the location now." and Nightwing closed the call. "hmph, seemed serious." Peter said and moved out of the building while his suit covered his body.

Arriving at the scene, the first things he saw weren't good. A couple of dead bodies which already worried him. The buildings were just debris. Thousands of property damage. Until an explosion from the nearest block got his attention. Without wasting any time he catapulted himself to the sky and web-slinged to were to explosion took place moments ago. He found the TItans fighting with some slender-looking creatures. They had four eyes instead of two and white spiked hair, pretty spooky if he could tell.

He landed next to Nightwing and quickly punched one of the creatures across the jaw knocking it down. "What've you got?" Peter asked in his fighting stance. "See those things?" Nightwing pointed at the creatures and Peter nodded "They are demons. Trigon got too strong and was eble to send some kind of an army here." Peter looked confused "Where is she now?" Peter asked "Thats where you come in." Dick said and pressed his earpiece "Raven, open a portal i'm sending backup." Dick said "What about you?" Peter asked as the purple portal opened infront of them. "We will be fine. Take care of her and be careful." Nightwing said as he gave Peter a brotherly hug. Peter could only nod, he wasn't ready for a change of mood like this one, one moment he is watching Tv and the other he is fighting for the safety of the earth. 

Walking through the portal he came face-to-face with Raven. As he looked around the new 'place' he was surprised to say the least. The sky was a bloody-red color. Around them there were little hills that looked like giant teeth. The floor was something he's never seen before, it was like dirt... but different. "What is going on? Where are we?" Peter asked Rachel, she slowly turned and faced him "Hell." she said and looked again infront of her. "I'm going to send them back here." she informed as she started walking forward "A whole demon army here?" he asked and her response was one that send chills up his spine "Wish that it works." she continued walking. It was really quiet and that got Peter suspicious to say the least "Why haven't we been attacked? I mean don't get me wrong i don't mind not having to fight for my life for once but its weird..." she didn't look at him, pointing at something that appeared to be like a floating door "In there. Prepare to fight for your life because if you don't...they'll be more than  happy to take it." She floated up and used her magic to lift Peter too. 'Okay don't freak out Parker you've fought many things. Demons isn't anything new in your agenda.' he thought to himself as  she used her magic and the big doors opened. The sight infront of him was horrifying. It was some sort of platform with a gap in the middle where the crystal was floating, surrounding it were small hills with something that looked like teeth. "Freaky." Peter said and Rachel didn't even look at him. He knew she sensed something, she knew something... and as soon as she landed him he grabbed her arm as gently as he could. "You know something. Probably sensed something. What is it." he asked. The smile behind the mask wasn't there anymore, his humour wasn't there anymore. The only thing inside him at the moment was seriousness. "It's... complicated..." she said and turned away from him "So where are the demons?" he asked "They'll come." she informed and started walking towards the gap and while she was almost at the end a path started forming for her to walk on. "So i have your back while you imprison him?" Peter asked and she answered with a yes. "Okay this is about to get real." he said to himself while cracking his knuckles and juming up and down. "What do they do except beeing extremely scary?" he asked "They shoot some kind of beam..." she said "Now get ready." leaving him no chance to talk she reached the crystal and started chanting her characteristic words "Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos... Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos..." and then Peter started hearing growls and his Spidey-sense kicked in. Doing a backflip he dodged a demon that was rushing to him. As he landed and looked up he was face-to-face with more than one, probablly ten or twenty... he didn't know. "God you are ugly." he said as the 'party' got started. Exchanging punches and using gadgets he managed to take some out of the way. But the good thing didn't last long, he started getting hitted back, hard. Back and forth he held his ground well. But eventually fell when a demon hit him that hard it send him flying crashing next to Rachel's legs. She gave him a quick glance "Under... Control." he said as he looked at his suit, it was broken to some parts, and at those parts he was bleeding...badly. He started noticing the bloodlost when his vision started playing games to him but he had no choice but to fight. For his life, for the world, for HER life.  Getting back up wasn't easy but when you don't have a chance what can you do except get back up. "Alright lets see if im getting out of here alive." Peter said as he started walking towards the remaining demons. They rushed to him, using one of the smoke grenades that Batman had given to him some days ago he maned to temporary blind them. He jumpled up and threw down a web grenade. The web caught three of them who received a powerful kick across the jaw. He looked up to see the rest of them with an evil grin on their face. Except the chills up his spine then it hit him. He sharply turned to look behind him and saw a demon right behind Rachel, the claws on his right hand became bigger and sharper and before Peter knew i, they went through Rachel. "RAVEN!" he shouted as he catapulted himself over to that spot. Kicking the demon with such brute force that Peter's leg almost went through its chest. But the force was enough to send the demon flying off the platform. He quickly took hold of Rachel's body. He kneeled down with her in his arms "Rachel, listen to me. Don't close your eyes. Stay awake, try and stay awake." he pleaded "Pete..." she whispered "Yes, im here. Right here." he reassured her. Tears started falling from her eyes and so did from Peter's "Im sorry i failed you...like everyone." he squeezed his eyes to stop the tears when he felt her hand on his cheek. He looked at her "You...saved everyone. The spell was succesful, earth is saved." she smiled at him "I don't care. I failed the one time you needed me the most." he looked away but used as much strength as she had and turned his head to look at him "You were always there... you don't know it but you saved me... when you arrived you saved me. You took me out of the shadow i was living under my entire life. Showed me the light and for that... i'm greatful..." her eyes started closing "No please, stay up don't close your eyes." he pleaded, the tears couldn't stop "I... love y-you Spider-Man..." she said and her whole body went numb. He hand fell to the side and Peter started panicking until...
