Ned showed Jade around the school, pointing out the fastest way to get the classes (and the slowest ways). She actually liked talking to the boy, he liked to joke around— another thing Jade liked about him. But Jade could tell by the way everyone looked as they passed the halls that Ned was not the most popular kid in school.

"And this is homeroom," Ned said, throwing his arms out. "You meet here every morning to start your hours in what we like to call prison or hell."

"It can't be that bad," Jade laughed.

Ned gave her the look and shook his head, "You haven't experienced it yet, trust me, your thoughts will change, my friend,"

Jade stopped, he considered her as his friend. She smiled and followed him to the back of the room. Peter and Ned must like the back.

She sat in front of Ned and to Ned's right, he did a handshake with Peter.

"So, you two know each other already?" Ned asked.

"Yes," the two teens said together.

More people started to flow in the class and Jade had VERONICA scan their faces for names— names only btw. One face walked closer to her than the rest did, Jade scanned his face to see his name was Eugene Thompson. She turned her glasses off and looked up at him.

He had a smirk playing on his face, "Well, hello Miss New Girl, I see you have been stuck with Penis Parker and his friend. I can tell the teacher you're uncomfortable and you can partner up with me,"

Jade knew by the way he talked that he was a jerk, and jerks were not on her list for friends.

"Thanks, but I'm good here..?" She said trailing off trying to get his name from him. She might have already known it but she was going to at least have some decency.

"Flash Thompson," he smirked. "You really don't want to sit with this?" He gestured to his body. "I didn't think weird nerd was your type."

"My type?" Jade stood up, her cheeks getting flushed with anger. Even though she mostly kept to herself, she couldn't deny that she was just like her father when people tried to tell her what she was. "I'm pretty sure that's your category. And the least you could do is refer to Ned by his name."

She paused to let her words sit, "Now, mosey along and find someone else to sit with before my foot gets stuck up your ass,"

Jade wouldn't really do that unless she needed to, it's mainly to scare people away. Flash let out a grunt and turned around with a smirk to find him a seat.

"Feisty," he mumbled before turning.

Jade rolled her eyes and sat back down, huffing out a pissy breath. She looked over at the two boys, their mouths agape and eyes wide.
