"IS this the girl that you couldn't save?" Iida's voice sounded exasperated on the phone. I was washing some dishes I had accumulated.

"Yes, but you have no idea! She's so much more than I ever expected," I said, smiling to myself.

He heard murmurs on the other side of the phone. "Aimi says she's excited to meet said woman."

"I am ready to meet up with everyone again. I haven't seen Tsu in a long time. Have you heard about her naval efforts? It's amazing," I said, turning off the sink.

"I assumed you haven't heard from Bakugou."

"No," I said, sighing. "I figured he wouldn't take up on my offer, even though I wish I could at least speak with him."

"He's been relatively quiet lately," Iida said something else off to the side and woman's voice responded. "Anyways, I can't believe you could catch us all at the right time."

"I haven't seen everyone in such a long time," I put the dish towel that was thrown over my shoulder back on its hook. "You think they're okay with me paying? You don't think they'll be insulted."

Iida laughed on the other end. "Midoriya, it'll be alright. You need to relax."

"The Tenya Iida is telling me to relax?!" I was kind of in shock. "Or is this Aimi speaking?"

"It's definitely me," Aimi's voice lit up the phone. "I'm so excited to see you, Izuku! It's been so long! We have a surprise too!"

I'm sure he already proposed. "A surprise? Count me excited!"

Aimi was a beautiful woman, every single person was shocked that she gave Iida the time of day. From what I remembered, she had long brown hair and sharp eyebrows that softened when she was talking about her passion. Cooking!

"Lucky bastard," Kaminari had said when Iida shared with us that they were officially dating. Funny thing about that, Aimi asked Iida to be her boyfriend. Not the other way around.

"I'll see you soon! Oh, I made you some take home meals. I hope you don't mind, but you suck at cooking," Aimi said.

"Hey! That's not fair. I try my best," I said, hearing her laughing on the other end. Iida took back the phone and agreed with her.

"Okay, okay. I'll see you soon, Midoriya."

"Right back at ya!"

I hung up, watching our old group chat come to life. We were so much older now and maybe some of us, not-so-wiser. I had even managed to track down Momo and Mina. They weren't able to make it, but I understood why.

I got myself ready. I had to look nice for them! But not too nice. I wasn't trying to give them the wrong impression. I haven't seen them in so long! It's really exciting. I had been number one hero for a while now. The last time I saw them was a couple of years back and I finally made it to the top. They threw a party for me and it was one of the nicest things they've ever done for me.
