Damon sat at the bar, keeping his head down.

The place was practically empty. It was only Damon, an older guy who sat in the back, and the female bartender.

The bartender washed the shot glass, watching the vampire sitting just across from her. "Damon?" He looked up, hearing his name.

And Lilith stood in front of him. They hadn't seen each other in years. Seeing him now made all of those good memories come back.

She was the only witch who had stayed his friend even after everything he had done to her.

"Lilith..." He breathed.

"What are you doing here?" What WAS he doing there? All he remembered was getting in his mustang and driving. He had no destination.

Not answering her, he stared at her, "You still work here... After all these years?" Smiling, Lilith nodded. After Damon left, she couldn't go on. She needed to find herself again. So, she got a job as a bartender. "Of course. It's not a glamours job but it pays the bills."

Pouring him a drink, she shook her head. Nothing had changed, she could tell. He was still the same Damon.

"It's nice to see you..."

"Like-wise," He started, "What have you been up to? It's been so long." She didn't look any different since he had last seen her 30 years ago.

Grinning, the witch nodded, "I've been good, great even. It's been too long. You look no different since I last saw you."

It was true. He even wore the same leather jacket he had all those years ago.

He wore his infamous smirk as he always did. Lilith asked, "How has Stefan been?" Stefan was still as stubborn as always, even if he didn't want to admit it. Even though he was the good brother, Damon and Stefan weren't as different as everyone thought. Day by day, the more time Caroline and Stefan spent together, more it changed Stefan.

Caroline was controlling. She couldn't help but worry about Stefan turning around and going back to Elena. The stress that Stefan was putting on Caroline was really changing her. She was always on edge and snappy at everyone else. And the fight with Elena wasn't helping.

"He's been doing... fine. I guess. He's dating someone," Lilith stopped him. "Elena, right? That  doppelgänger chick?" He shook his head.

"They broke up. Now he's dating Caroline, unfortunately..." Damon couldn't help but wish that Stefan would break up with Caroline. She was a bad influence. Lilith laughed. "Just be happy for him." Damon shrugged. It was hard to be supportive when all Stefan, Caroline, and Elena could do was fight. "Anyways... Why are you here? I can't imagine why you would come all this way just to see me."

He needed her help. Klaus was closer than they thought, and he couldn't trust Elijah to take care of Klaus. He needed something more... Stable. A plan B, if you will. "So," She frowned, handing the thirsty vampire a glass of blood. "You expect me to help YOU kill Klaus? You do know he is indestructible, right?"

"Yes, yes... I know. Elijah said he was going-" Lilith cut him off. "Elijah? As in... Elijah Mikaelson? Klaus's brother?" Damon nodded. "He said he would help but I can't trust him."
