Chapter 2 --

Sharply three o'clock in the afternoon, the infamous Katherine Pierce walked on the pavements of New Orleans. Trying to contain herself from searching the whole world for that slut of a wolf and slowly ending her life with her bare hands.

And him.

Elijah Mikaelson.

Pft. Everyone thinks that he's honorable, the moral one, the excellent guy among the Mikaelson Family Tree. But on a serious matter, he's worst than Klaus and Kol combined.

Katherine furiously stomped her black pumps with a 5 inches heels unto the ground. How dare he,she thought. I've offered something that we both wanted before he even had a second to fly in this forsaken city. But he declined so that he can protect his family. But newsflash, it looks like its not his family whom he's protecting and loving.

Wait, loving?

More furious and seething with anger. Katherine absent mindedly entered a bar, she swiftly strode inside and took a seat on one of the barstools. She grumpily waited for the blonde bartender to finish tending a costumer.

"Yes?" The bartender finally came infront of her, raising her eyebrows at the drop-dead-gorgeous brunette. A new costumer or a tourist, perhaps,Camille thought. But either way, this one is still a costumer who visibly got a problem.

"Scotch," Katherine murmured, cupping her chin with her right-hand and placing her elbow on the surface.

"Why is it that people always go for scotch whenever a problem hits them?" Camille said as she served Katherine her drink.

By just looking at her, Camille can say that she's a woman full of confidence but seeing the fact that her shoulders are slumped. It points out nothing but a mess.

Without saying a word to the nosy bartender, she decided to call her that, Katherine ignored her and took the glass that was slid down to her. Looking at the half-filled glass with amber liquid, Katherine slid it back to the bartender and motioned her to make it a full glass.

Camille gave Katherine an are-you-sure look before giving in to her wishes. Filling the glass again, Camille couldn't help but think what's with the woman. She's gorgeous, sexy and pretty confident. Exactly what a guy would be running for, but beneath that, she has this aura that makes her skin cold.

Downing the liquor in three gulps, Katherine let the alcohol pass through her throat until she felt her insides sting. Good thing, she's a half-millennium vampire or else she would literally coughing her lungs out.

Studying the costumer, Camille was surprised that she didn't even flinch or let out a small cough with that huge amount of drink in just a second. Thinking, she tried to remember on where she saw such an act. Then it clicked, she once saw Klaus Mikaelson do that on the same circumstances. That means... she's a supernatural.

"Why do you think this bar is a supernatural magnet?" Camille silently question, making Katherine's eyes stop at her. The Petrova didn't let a single muscle move within her as she look at the blonde woman, until her eyes crawled down to her name tag.

"You know what, Camille. Don't act like you know everything just because you're majoring in philosophy. Its can get you nowhere..."she said in a harsh tone. Katherine slide the empty glass back at her and asked her to fill it again.

"That wont be necessary,Camille. I got it from here," an all-too-familiar voice sounded behind Katherine.

Standing there, stunned, Camille nodded at the man behind the gorgeous vampire and took the bill that Elijah Mikaelson places on the counter. "A supernatural magnet, indeed. Thank you,Elijah."she said and gave them a smile before completely turning around.
