Chapter E I G H T: Triangles are evil!!Third POV
Kiyumi felt the pressure. The pressure of a broken heart, again. She was still wondering how she managed to like Sasuke in such short amount of time. 6 days to be exact.
She had her own matters on her hands like training herself and learning advanced jutsus from the Sacred Scroll that the Hokage 'let' her 'borrow'.
She had her own ways to figure out how to master them although it might have took a few cuts and bruises to do it. The Hokage has faith for her, knowing she was just like her mother, stubborn yet determined. Don't forget witty and sharp-tounged.
As for the raven haired boy that got her so worked up, found it peculiar that Kiyumi hasn't bothered him after meeting their sensei.
Usually, Kiyumi would pop out of nowhere and annoy him until he would snap. Pushing away the disappointed feeling building up his chest, Sasuke continued to make his way back home. But stopped as soon as he spotted Kiyumi, all battered up and bruised, on the grassy ground laying on her back.
He sprinted to her quietly but Kiyumi sensed him coming towards her, not knowing it was the boy she was trying to ignore. "Kiyumi.." Sasuke said, looking down at her lying figure as soon as he got there.
Kiyumi's breath hitched from the sound of his voice, her eyes still closed but it was filled with hot tears. She knew he won't go away until he got a reply from her. She knows that he's way too stubborn.
"What?" she croaked, her voice cracking. Sasuke sensed something was wrong, from the fact that she sounded vulnerable and tears were rolling down her cheeks. I can't believe I'm crying over this guy... just like a fan girl would do after being rejected by her 'idol'. I'm becoming weaker in heart after I got here.
"Kiyumi, is... something wrong?" Sasuke hesitated, shakily holding out his hand to caress his thumb over her tear stained cheeks. Idiot.. a voice said somewhere at the back of Kiyumi's mind.
He doesn't know why he felt so connected to her. It's like they were always attached together since.... (fuck! I can't think of anything!! Oh yeah.) they were still in their mother's womb... Wait, what?! I meant, since they were too young to remember. Yeah... that's what I meant.
"No.. can't you fucking see it? I'm crying for fucks sake, Sasuke! Of course there's something wrong ,you jackass! What's wrong with you?! You know what never mind that!" Kiyumi exclaimed, her voice strained. It made her sound pathetic and weak, in her perspective but to Sasuke, she had her imperfections shown. She swatted his hand away from her face.
"Nothing... I was just making sure you were okay." Sasuke said, reaching out his hand (again) to Kiyumi. She only stared at it, unsure of what to say or do. "Kiyumi, the truth is, I care about you... I don't why but I just do. It's probably because I feel connected to you, like there's no barrier between us and it just confuses me more that I am opening up to you."
"That was so cheesy, I could've dipped my nachos in that one." Kiyumi sniffled, looking into Sasuke's eyes. She smiled and took his hand, only to pull him down and sit with her.
They stayed there watching the clouds. It was peaceful and they were just calmed, never realizing that their hands were intertwined the whole time. Then a dobe came out of nowhere and ruined the moment both of them just had. Naruto.
"Kiyu - chan! Do you wanna go out for some ra- Are you two on a date or something?" Naruto asked, suspiciously looking between Kiyumi and Sasuke.
"No"
