Chapter T H R E E: Princess of the Ninja Nations?
Kiyumi's POV
I groaned at the lights. Why am I still alive? I opened my eyes to see thick trees around me and I was in a small clearing. This forest seemed so familiar yet I couldn't tell why. My eyes flickered to the left, sensing something.
The surprising thing was two people in a Konoha headband, was walking towards me. Must be cosplayers, (and yes she knows) they looked so much like Izumo and Kotetsu, wow must be a new level of cosplay.
I stood up and dusted off the some dust out of my kimono. Was I wearing a kimono before this? I don't remember.
"What are you doing here, girl? State your business!" the Izumo cosplayer said, a really sharp kunai in his hand.
"Well, I don't know what I'm doing here." I replied.
The Izumo and Kotetsu cosplayers glanced at each other, telepathically having a conversation, maybe.
"We'll take you to the Hokage" They both said.
The moment I blinked, they were by my side. I tensed, they were by my side in a blink, without even making a sound. That means... I'm really in Konoha and they were really Kotetsu and Izumo and not some cosplayers. They took hold of both my arms and teleported us to the Hokage's office.
They both knocked on the wooden door and I heard a deep 'come in' from the Hokage.
They opened the door and walked in front of the Hokage's desk and bowed at him in respect. I copied their actions and greeted the Hokage.
"Good morning to you too, little one. Now, tell me. What is your name?" he asked, with a wrinkly smile.
"Kiyumi Ryuu, Lord Hokage." I said, bowing again.
"The Princess is back huh?" he muttered under his breath, although I heard.
"What do you mean, Lord Hokage?" I asked, tilting my head to side in confusion.
He sighed and motioned a jounin to fetch a document for him. Once the jounin gave the Hokage a blue shiny file, he beckoned me to look at it. As I walked over to his desk, my palms started to get slightly sweaty from anxiousness.
My shaking hand reached out to grab the file and I opened it, only to see my mum, dad and me. I was a baby back then in the picture and my mum was holding me in her arms and my dad has his hands on her waist while they both smiled at the camera.
Tears started to brim my eyes but I held the tears back. My eyes probably looks glossy and watery, making me look weak.
The document had all the details of my mum's and dad's life. What surprised me was they both were labeled deceased. How did they know?
Ryuu Clan - Kohuro Clan
Ryuu Daisuke and Kohuro Miyuki - deceased
Cause of death - Ship wreck
Clan Prodigy & Heir(ess) - Ryuu Kiyumi (missing)
The clan prodigy of Ryuu Clan and the heiress of the Kohuro clan was labeled missing after the sudden disappearance of the family. Both clans found their clan head gone and also their little daughter in the age of 2.
So I'm a princess, huh? Weird.... not what I really wanted but.... meh!
"Welcome back, Kiyumi hime - sama!" the Hokage said, standing up and bowed at me. The only jounins in the room copied his actions and greeted me.
