So I procrastinated and now I have to write two chapters in one day while really sick. Also, when referring to Leo Valdez I'll say Leo V. You'll understand what I mean by that very soon.
Piper's POV:
Noah reminded me of the kids at Camp, energetic, and full of life. He - like the kids at Camp Half-Blood held sadness in their eyes but hadn't fully experienced the horrors of life yet.
Noah and Leo ran down the stairs, almost running into two other kids running into the kitchen too. "You must be the new kid! I'm Tegan, who are you?" One of the girls asked.
"I'm Leo"
"That's a cool name! Can I use that name today, Katie?" Kate looked over at us and smiled. "Ok then, Leo. What are your pronouns today?"
"They/him? She/them?" Leo questioned frantically. [A/n: for now I'll use no pronouns]
"Don't worry, take your time. Tell me after breakfast." Kate set down breakfast in front of them. Noah and a girl Leo V hasn't met yet sat on the other side.
Leo nodded and began to devour the entirety of Leo's breakfast. Leo V. looked confused but just started eating. Noah leaned over and whispered "Can I tell him?" to Leo. Leo nodded and Noah sat back up.
"Leo gave me permission so I'll tell you. Leo is genderfluid. That means Leo's gender changes over time. Leo might identify as a woman one day and a man the next. They might also identify as agender, bigender, or another nonbinary identity. For many gender-fluid people, it's an internal shift they might not want to express outwardly. Leo is one of these people, so please excuse Leo if Leo doesn't want to keep explaining this all the time. If you have a question, you can ask one of us." Noah spouted, proudly smiling at Leo, who smiled back.
"Okay, thank you for explaining." Leo V said to Noah. Leo V turned to Leo. "I support you, let me know what names and pronouns I should use when you figure it out."
