Wahid furiously typed onto his laptop while Imaan stared at him not having anything better to do.
She thought about praying extra prayers but then the devil diverted her attention to him and she became lazy.
Wahid spared no glance at her as his work seems more important to him rather than his wife and Imaan didn't like that so she thought about plans to make him like her.
She went to the drawing room which was her favourite room in the whole mansion although it belongs to Ishaa'k, she was sure he won't mind sharing it with her, after all, he loves her.
She took a piece of paper and a pencil which was the only one in the room and started to write a list titled,
Steps to make him like me
She felt the title was stupid and childish but shrugged and didn't bother much as it was only her who was going to read whatever she will write.
After writing the title she wrote her steps,
♡First
● Know about him, his likes and his dislikes
She bit her pencil as she thought over the first step.
She hardly knows anything about him despite having gone to the same school and had a majority of classes together, it wouldn't hurt to ask him but before that, she thought about the things she knew,
She knows that his favourite colour is peach and his favourite food is Shawarma and that he sketches beautifully.
'why does a person with unbelievable talent hide it from the world?' Imaan thought as she remembered the incident that happened just before.
Maybe because he's insecure about it?
Or Maybe it's just a mere hobby?
Thoughts ran into her mind but she quickly shrugged them away and concentrated on her list.
'What does he like?
Ummm...'
After thinking for a long time and not being able to find anything in her poor jumbled childhood memory she finally gave up after only remembering bits and pieces of him running towards her and screaming her name.
A smile formed on her lips as the memory become clear it was on her 12th birthday when Wahid visited her regarding it
When Imaan came downstairs she was surprised to see a grinning Wahid running toward her she too matched his grin and greeted him
Her now husband brought her all types of gifts anyone could ever gift to a twelve-year-old
The 13-year-old looked at her excitedly as she opened her gifts packagings that he did himself,
He got her all types of books she likes along with a sketchbook knowing her passion
'he'll never be like that again' A depressing thought crossed her mind thinking about the 13-year-old Wahid,
Imaan sighed sadly and got up after neatly folding up her list paper and keeping it in the drawer in the far corner which she was sure no one will use
She was going to the room she shared with her husband knowing he'll probably still doing his work, She wondered why he didn't do his work in his office room which is also in the same mansion but decided against asking him because she'll rather have him working on the bedroom than the depressing office,
