INT. TODD'S OFFICE - DAY
JASON TODD and ALLISON WOOD talk with each other. There is tension in the air. They clearly don't get along very well.
ALLISON WOODS: I wanna know why you cut me out of that police investigation into the little girl kidnapped in Seattle.
JASON TODD: Budget restrictions.
ALLISON WOODS: A little girl doesn't count, in your opinion?
JASON TODD: Don't get emotional.
ALLISON WOODS: Excuse me?
JASON TODD: You don't need to put your emotion into it because you're a woman.
ALLISON WOODS: Oh, sorry. I forgot you don't have much respect for women.JASON TODD: That's not true.
ALLISON WOODS: Tell that to Betty. She was all broken up after you cheated on her...with her sister.
JASON TODD: Her twin sister. I thought it was
Betty.ALLISON WOODS: So, you didn't notice the tattoo on
her rear?JASON TODD: When I noticed it, I was too close
to the prize to stop.ALLISON WOODS: I'm going to Seattle.
JASON TODD: You don't live in the Upper East Side anymore, Allison. You just can't snap your fingers and expect everyone to come running. Here we use procedures. Either you follow
them or you're out.ALLISON WOODS: You know, Todd? Sometimes I ask myself whether you treat me this way because I'm a woman, or because I'm the only woman in this office that hasn't slept with you.
JASON TODD (pointing to the door): Get out of here.
