Wait no.
I instantly turn back and go to my seat. "Or maybe..." I mumble as I stand back up yet start hesitating once again as I get to the second row of seats. I was about to turn back around until my phone buzzed.
[New message from: Unknown
"Are you going to come or not" ]
I stare at the screen confusingly until it hit me. I went wide-eyed and looked over to where Yoongi was at. He was sitting on the edge of the stage looking straight at me with a blank expression.
I take a deep breath and head over to him, looking up once I got to him since the stage is quite high. "I wasn't deciding whether to come or not... It's my mother's birthday soon and I don't have a gift." He grabs his phone and starts scrolling, "Mhm. Did you write down your ideas?" he asks, not convinced of my earlier excuse. I cross my arms, "No and I'm sure you didn't as well." "I see you pay attention to my actions," he smirks, eyes still glued to his phone. "No but I find it fun knowing people's weakness, from what I see yours is your pride."
I mean, that has to be it right? When he told me he also works alone, he said he didn't want to risk anything. And then today, how he was mad and said that he had to start working and then he looked relieved when he heard Yerum wasn't here. I guess he wants to show that he's a good addition to the team?
"Isn't it everyone's?" He looks at me as I go around and walk up the stairs. "I guess." I shrug as I sit down next to him. "But you seem to care more about it." He stares at the ground for a couple of seconds before chuckling. "You know, I though you were really annoying. The way you didn't socialize and had that 'don't mess with me attitude' got on my nerves. But you seem interesting." "Uh, you don't talk either." "But I have a reason not to do that. I'll give people the impression that they can rely on me since we would now be friends." He shakes his head, "I can't let people rely on me again. But," he stands up, "just because I've decided to be nice doesn't mean I'm your buddy, friend, or acquaintance." "Are you ready to have to deal with that Hoseok, or would you rather find another partner?" He smiles as he offers me his hand.

"But he's so weird." I shake my head and continue drinking the strawberry milk from the small cafe just outside of school.
Jimin and Taehyung look like little kids as they listen to me, eyes lit up and feet tapping the floor. "So what did you say?" Jimin asks. "Duh, I said yeah. I was put with him it's not like I can change that." Both boys groan in frustration and sit back up straight. "God damn it Hoseok, this sounded straight out of a drama and you ruin it by being boring," Taehyung complains as he starts eating the food he bought. "Okay but like why was he trying to be so deep?" "I cAnT leT pEoplE rElY oN mE aGaiN." I mimic. "Like he's trying to tell me his life story or something."
Jimin shakes his head, "This is all too soon, he definitely wants you." "Jimin not everything is like the dramas you watch. And stop trying to get me to date people, you said you would stop last year." I shove him. "May I remind you that you can't trust Jimin with things of that sort?" Taehyung smiles. "I can't trust him with anything." I laugh. "Why am I always being bullied by you two." Taehyung points at Jimin with his chopsticks, "Because you're childish and dumb." "I'm not dumb my grades are literally higher than yours Tae." He rolls his eyes. "You make dumb remarks all the time." Taehyung shrugs.
"Anyways I don't know what to do about him, he called me annoying and seems complicated. I might lose it if I see him again." "Like you're gonna fight him." Taehyung laughs. "You never know, and I get frustrated easily." "Well good luck with that." "Yeah, don't you remember when you arm-wrestled my cousin?" Jimin asks. "Wait did he beat Hoseok?" Taehyung snickers. "Yeah! And my cousin is more of a limp noodle, and he is younger than Hoseok." He laughs. "Bye, I'm going to go make new friends." I stick out my tongue at them as I get up. "NO! Don't leave me alone with Jimin again!" Taehyung pleads. "He starts telling me all his problems after the first five minutes!"
"YOU LIAR, YOU DON'T GET ANNOYED AT ALL. YOU'RE THE ONE THAT ASKS TO HEAR THEM."

"MOM"
My mother opens the door to my room, "yes honey?" "Do we still have relief patches? My back feels like it's going to fall apart." She frowns, "No, but I'll buy some when I pass by the convenience store." She smiles and closes the door.
"Ugh, should I text him?" I wrote some ideas down but I don't think they're that good or interesting. I shake my head, since when did I care about that? Ideas are not official and can be made better once I put more effort into them. I did this in twenty minutes and anyways they won't be presented. I grab my phone and send him the text file. "I should probably name him now," I say as I stare at the big UNKNOWN on my screen. He texts me as soon as I change it.
Yoongi: wow I thought you didn't have anything
Me: I work fast
Yoongi: but the explanations are pretty short...
Me: Help me chose the best ones and then I'll elaborate. Stop judging and send me yours.
Yoongi: Download File
I click on the button and the document pops up. There's not a lot but they are well elaborated, one specifically catches my attention.
"Goodbye Sunrise"
A story in which the main character, Liam, has to endure the pain of having to deal with his best friend, Amy, leaving the country. Going through the tough stages of his life, he finally meets once again with the changed Amy. While they go through many fights about Amy's decisions, this time Liam decides to leave her and continue on with his life. Yet, they continue to be put in situations where they have to see and be with each other, causing regret and eventually, love to start. A few years pass by and Liam decides that their relationship is too complicated. And so, they have to split once again, never forgetting the strong love they once had.
Me: The third one is somewhat cringy and cliché yet it might captivate most of the audience. Work on that one.
Yoongi: JUST THAT ONE?
Me: WELL YOU DIDN'T GIVE ME MANY OPTIONS
Yoongi: Ugh
Yoongi: Anyways I'll tell you yours because I have to go
Me: Okay
I'm somewhat annoyed, I wanted to work on it today and get it over with, but I guess he must really be busy.
"HOE...seOoooooOoOook"
I instantly run downstairs to see a young idiot standing in front of the door. I look side to side to make sure my mom isn't listening. "Jungkook what the fuck!" "Uh okay I see, I leave for five months and this is the welcoming I get?" I roll my eyes, hug him, and then proceed to kick his leg. "HEY," he winces in pain and tries to maintain his balance. "If my mom heard you say hoe-seok, you're dead."
He sighs as he falls back on the living room sofa, rubbing his leg. "The uber dropped me off right as your mom was stepping outside. She looked so happy to see me, obviously, and she told me to stay and "take care of you." What, did you expect me to cuss while she's in the house?" "Does she not remember that I'm older than you?" He sits up and smiles, "She probably does but I'm so polite and mature in front of her, it's obvious that I seem like the older more mature and handsome person."
"This is bad."
"Why."
"I forgot that you're exactly like Jimin, full of yourself and annoying."
"HEY!"
A/N: New chapter every Monday! :)
