Chapter Nine

One week later

So far everything has been great with James, yes we're on a first name basis now. We decided to co-parent and we've been talking/texting just about everyday. We're both excited about the baby and getting to know each other since we're gonna be bonded from now on. He told me that he wanted me to meet Queen after the appointment, so i guess sometime next week, and yes he did tell her, and don't ask me how it went because he didn't tell me. I'm just gonna assume that it went well.

We're both very excited about the baby, and he's already been buying stuff for the baby which isn't much since we don't know the gender yet, but we will be finding out in about a month or two, I can't really remember when if I'm being honest, but the point is we're both excited. And y'all know I'm extra as hell so ya girl having the most extra gender reveal ever.

Anyways I'm headed to Dallas for the weekend to my parent's house to tell them about their grandchild. I'm not ready for the obvious questions but I gotta get this shit over with.

Getting out the bed I begin getting dressed putting on some casual clothes since my mom loves to talk shit and say I be showing too much. So I decided on a cute lil all white fit, nothing major but still cute as hell.

Finishing getting dressed I grab my suitcase and head out the door for the weekend.

Texting James , I let him know that I'm leaving for the weekend so he wouldn't be worried if I didn't text back or some shit.

Me: hey I just wanted to let you know I'm going home this weekend to tell my folks about the baby 🥴.
James 👶🏽: Damn ma I know you nervous as hell but you got this and keep my baby safe ion wanna have to beat ya big head ass up.
Me: lmfao bye BLACK.
James 👶🏽: What I told you girl? It's JAMES to you.
Me: lol bye I'm finna hit the road.
James 👶🏽: Iight be careful baby mamas.

Smiling to myself I hit shuffle on Apple Music and head to Dallas.
