Chapter Fourteen

Slowly waking up out of my sleep, I instantly feel James's hard, warm body pressed against the back of mine. One arm cupping my boob from under me, while the other is wrapped around me, holding me close to him.

His soft snores are comforting to me, and I honestly could have laid here forever. His touch feels like heaven, which scares me because at the end of the day, this was another mistake and I don't need to allow myself to get to close to him in this aspect because it'll only hurt me in the long run.

After laying here, pressed against him, I finally get up after the urge to pee becomes too strong. Bending over to pick up my shirt off the floor, James smacks my ass, scaring the fuck outta me and making me jump up and turn around to look at him. Rolling my eyes, I throw my shirt at him. "Chill, ya ass almost made me pee on myself!" I say before switching out the room to go pee.

Walking back into my bedroom after handling my business, I see that James is on the phone.

After stripping my bed and throwing everything into the washer, I call up Mia to let her know about everything that went down last night with James.

Turning my music back on, I unlock the door and go back to my couch to sit and wait on Mia.

"Well, we had a lil date last night, we went out to eat and then he took me to the club. We got lit as hell and one thing led to another and let me just say that man is blessed! Third leg for sure! Unable to control myself, I double over in laughter at how animated she was, but my good sis needed it, I'm sure she had cobwebs in her coochie it had been so long.

"Okay but for real, yesterday when I woke up I saw that my baby had decided to start showing and I got excited and called him over to see. Well, the vibes were amazing! Like we were having a good time, talking, getting to know each other better, eating all that. Well, it got deep, like we were talking on a deep level and we ended up kissing. And then kissing turned into well, you know fucking."

Taking a breath, Mia chimes in, asking the important questions. "So where do y'all go from there? Is he going to leave his fiancé? Was he using you for a quick fuck? How do you feel about him? Do you even want to be with him?"

"Look, I don't have all the answers to your questions because i just don't know. What I do know is how I felt when I woke up in his arms, and that shit is crazy as hell, but I don't wanna lose that feeling, and even if I can't have all of him, isn't a piece of him good enough? Besides I know I don't really want to be with him, I'm sure I only feel this way because of the baby. Once my baby is born, I know these feelings will go away so what's the harm in a little fun?"

"Okay I'm your friend, and I wouldn't be a good one if I didn't tell you that you sound dumb as fuck right now. I know you're going through a lot right now but you deserve a whole man, not a piece of one that's gone give you dick on a side. And then what if Queen finds out and tries to do something to you and my God baby? Then I'm in jail for murder. I just want you to be careful, okay? And I don't want to sound judgmental because I love you and I'm gonna support you no matter what."

Crying a bit, I hug her. "I love you, and I know I sound dumb right now, but it's just that feeling that I had when I woke up, it was like "damn, I could get used to this. I could see us doing this for real" but i know he's with her and he'll never be with me, and I'm fine with that, but he's really my only option right now because who else is gonna be with someone that's pregnant right now?"

"Bitch you're beautiful anyone would be lucky to have you."

Pulling apart from her I dab my eyes and say "damn only you can bring out the cry baby in me."

"Anyways, what food did you get? I'm hungry." I say with a laugh.

"And I need more details on this date with Kobi miss mamas." I say, as she hands me my food.

"Okay so we've been texting and flirting on the gram ever since Tae's party..."
