Move in day. One of the saddest days a family has to go through. Today Tyler is moving into Ohio State, and the whole family packed up our two cars and drove into the city. Zack drove the one car with me in the front and Maddie and Jay in the back, while my dad drove the other with my mom and Tyler. They want to have as much time with him as possible, even though they are going to be only an hour away from him. I on the other hand am moving into NYU next week, and won't be able to see my twin for the next four months until Thanksgiving. Today is hard on all of us, but especially hard for Tyler and me.

Tyler didn't bring much stuff with him to college, since he will probably be coming home most weekends. It only took us a few hours to set up his room, and by then it was almost dinner time.

"Alright, we gotta get going." My dad speaks up. We are all sitting around Tyler's dorm room. His roommate still has not shown up, so Zack and I are sitting on the empty bed.

"Please, just one more hour." I whine. Zack gives my dad puppy eyes, and the rest of us all join in, giggling.

"No, we gotta go eat dinner. I'm starving." My dad says, standing up.

"Let's just go out to eat here, and Ty can eat with us." I speak up. Everyone knows I dodn't want to leave Tyler.

"Yea, let's go. You can't leave me alone to fend for myself just yet!" Tyler says, sitting on his bed with Maddy. Jay is sprawled out on the floor like a starfish, while my mom iss sitting on the only chair in the room.

"Come on Chris, they deserve to spend the evening together. We should all go out to dinner." My mom says.

"Yea, Dad. Listen to her!" All of us kids chime in.

My dad sighs. "Fine, let's go before I change my mind. But we're just gonna drop Tyler off after we eat and then hit the road. I've got to go to school tomorrow." He always was at school, being the principal of the school I finally left a few months ago forced him to be there whether school was in session or not.

We all get into the cars, this time all of us kids are crammed into the one car while my parents are comfortable in the other.

"Seriously, we had to squeeze into one car?" I complain, as I was the one stuck in the middle of the back seat. Even though Tyler was my twin, I was severely vertically challenged unlike the rest of the family. So I am stuck between Tyler and Jay, against my own will, while Maddy gets the passenger seat all to herself.

Jay responds to my rhetorical question by incessantly poking me.

"Jay, knock it the fuck off!" I whine. Jay doesn't stop, not once the whole ride to the restaurant.

Exasperated, I climb out of the car behind Tyler and head into Lindey's, Tyler and I's favorite place to eat in Columbus.

"How many?" The hostess asked me when I opened the door.

"Seven" I respond curtly. I am still annoyed by Jay's incessant poking.

"Follow me," The girl says once the rest of my family joins me.

"Hello, my name is Josh, and I'll be your waiter tonight." An attractive man stands right next to me with a giant smile on his face. I can't help but blush.

"Hey Josh" The family greats him loudly, causing him to chuckle, and for me to blush even more.

"Can I start you guys off with something to drink?" Josh asks.

"Emma, you first" Zack says trying to hold in a chuckle. He knows I'm blushing and he wants to embarrass me further.

"Can I...uh...Can I have a coke please?" I say quietly.

"Sure thing, who's next?" Josh asks everyone, while I just stare at his beautifulness.

Once he walks away the table erupts in laughter. It starts with Tyler, so I give him a death glare first. Once everyone receives the glare, they finally shut up.

Throughout the entire dinner, I continue to blush whenever Josh comes to our table. I am pretty sure Josh caught on that I like him, because there is a number written at the bottom of our bill.

We all head back to Tyler's dorm to say our final goodbyes. Everyone gives Tyler a hug and says how much they're gonna miss him, but I stick around till they all leave.

"I'm gonna miss you bro" I say as I give Tyler a bear hug.

He picks me up and spins me around as he he returns my hug. "I'm gonna miss you more sis," he says into my shoulder.

Just then, the door opens and Tyler's new roommate walks in. Josh.
