"Hey Carissa do you want me to take you home or do you wanna go somewhere else?"

Time for my master plan. Katy is going to hopefully enjoy this. If she wants to be normal I can make that happen.

"Actually can we go to Walmart really quick? I just need to grab a few things..."

"Ahhh.... Yeah sure. Whatever you want."

Katy gave me a wierd look before telling the driver to head to the nearest Walmart. After that she just kinda put her head against the window and her face went blank. I hope my plan works. She looks really depressed.

We continued down the boulevard of shops until we hit the highway. I looked at Katy again to see her the same way as before. Her green eyes were glosssed over as if she had been crying. I hated seeing her like this.

"Hey Katy are you okay?"

"Yeah. I'm fine."

"Katy I know your not. What's wrong?"

"Carissa just stop. I'm fine, really."

Katy turned to me and gave me the most pained smile I have ever seen. It was terrible. A blind man could see through it. Sadness was practically coming off her in waves.

"Katy really? That is so fake. Is this because of what I said earlier?"

Katy dropped her smile and looked deep into me as if trying to see through me. As if it were a trick question.

"To be honest Carissa, yes, it is about that..."

Oh

"I just never thought about some of the points that you brought up and then I started to think about things that go around that. Like how I only see my fans for so long. They pay so much to even just hug me? It doesn't make sense. Why do they do that? I mean even at the mall they were so reluctant to even see me get in the car. It just doesn't make sense why would they like me of all people?"

"Katy take it from a fan. WE LOVE YOU!!!! That is why we do that. You may not be perfect but you never quit! You didn't care what anybody thinks and your not afraid to hit deep topics or express yourself. Thats why we love you. Because you can give us the strength we need."

Katy looked at me wide eyed before the first tear slipped out of her beautiful face. It was followed by another then soon another, then another until it was just a stream of tears. I took Katy's head under my chin and smoothed her hair as she continued to soak my shirt although I really didn't care.
