Part 19

(A few months later)

Betty's pov:

"Please can I stay home!" I groan. "Betty, It's only for a few days" Gladys sighs. "Dad, We really don't want to go" Jug says with a glum face. "Fp, Make them go!" Cheryl yells. "You guys are going" Fp says. "Fine" I groan and storm upstairs. "Baby, Maybe it won't be that bad" Jug sighs. "Of course it will be, Boys and girls get separated, Jug, We won't be together, I can't handle it!". "Baby, Hey, Everything will be okay" He sighs and pulls me into a tight hug. "I can't sleep without you, Juggie" I cry. "Baby, Hey, You can". "No I can't!".  The rest of the night he comforted me and helped me pack even though I wouldn't stop crying. 

(1 day later)

Jug's pov:

"You ready" I ask Betty as we get to the car. "No" She mumbles. My dad was driving us to school and then from there we would go to the campsite. "Toni or Cheryl you are in the front" Betty says biting her nails. "What no it's pretty much Jug's car, He should be in the front" Toni says folding her arms. "Too bad" Betty scowls pulling me onto the back seat. "I can sit up front if I need too" I say. "No" she demands closing the car door. She goes round the other side and gets in. "Baby, I know you are scared, But everything will be fine". She slides into the middle seat, putting her head on my shoulder. I wrap my arms around her tightly pulling her closer if that was even possible. "Toni, Just go in the front" I say glaring. "Fine" she groans and gets into the front seat. 

"Alright, Everyone, Split into buses and we can get to the camp!" A teacher yells. Betty clings onto my hoodie as we walk to the front bus with the others.Once we got in the bus I slid into the seat with my back against the window and my legs on the seat. "Juggie, I wanna sit with you" Betty whines almost in tears. "You are, Baby, On my lap" I smirk. She breathes out and sits like me just on my lap. I securely wrap my arms around her waist and kiss her temple. 

 "Alright, Everyone grab their bags and we will split you into cabins!". "Fuck that" I mumble as I grip onto Betty's hand. "Don't be a Debby downer, Jug" Ronnie says. "Yeah, Whatever, I'm going to get the bags" I say walking off with Betty holding my hand.  "Hello, Everyone it's so great to see you all here!" A teacher shouts. There were around 5 other classes here. "Now, Let's get started with cabins so we can get all this luggage away" She says. "Girls, This side, Boys, This side". "Juggie" Betty murmurs. "Go with Ronnie, Baby". She sighs and follows Ronnie over to the girls side. "You 6 are in cabin 8" She points at me. I look over at Betty and see her holding a cabin 13 key. "This is not good" I murmur. 

Betty's pov:

"I can't" I cry into Jugs shirt. "Its okay we will figure this out" Jug sighs. "Everyone to their cabins!. "I'll see you soon, Ok" He says, kissing my forehead. "Yeah" I murmur, Pulling my luggage towards my cabin. I had Veronica, Cheryl, Toni and two other random girls in my cabin. "You two are so lucky" I complain to Toni and Cheryl. "One extra perk of being gay" Cheryl chuckles. "Let's go talk to the camp manager later" Veronica says as she rubs my back.

"I'm taking the bottom bunk" I say, lying my stuff in the corner next to my bunk. Veronica was on the bottom with me and then we had Cheryl and Toni above us. "I just want Juggie" I sigh. "Betts" V also sighs. "Its all your guys fault, You were the ones that made Fp and Gladys say yes!" I yell, leaving the cabin. "Betty!" They all yell. I run to Jug's cabin, Storming through the door. "Baby, Hey, Whats going?". I wrap my arms around Jug's torso and just cry. "Alright, Let's go for a walk" He says, Picking me up, Carrying me out of the cabin. 

After Jug and I talked, Jug led me back into my cabin. "Baby, What do you have to say?" Jug says as he pulls me out from behind him. "Um, I'm sorry for shouting" I sigh. "Its all good, Betty, We understand" Ronnie says. "Why won't you talk with them and come back to mine later" He whispers to me. I sigh and nod. He kisses my forehead and leaves the cabin. 

 After a bit, I walk into Jug's cabin and I see him sitting on the bottom bunk. "Hey" He murmurs as he opens his arms. "Can I stay here tonight?" I ask quietly as I cuddle into him . "I wish, Baby" He says sadly. "Anyone wanna go to the pool?" Ronnie asks. "Yeah, Sure" We all agree. We all get into our swimwear and meet down at the pool. 

There was no one there which was a bit strange, but who cares we get the whole pool to ourselves. "You gonna swim?" Jug asks, Wrapping his arms around my waist from behind. "Yeah" I say quietly. "Come on then" He says, Picking me up. "No, Please!" I shout while laughing. "Jughead, Don't you dare chuck me into this pool!" I yell. "Sorry, Baby girl" He smirks and chucks me in. I come up to breath and start laughing. Jug jumps in and starts splashing me. "Stop, Juggie" I giggle. After a little while I just pull Jug to the corner of the pool, away from everyone. "You alright?" He asks. "I'm good" I say putting my arms around his neck. He kisses me and then lifts me up. I wrap my legs around his torso and we just end up staying like that for like 30 minuets, Just enjoying each others company.

(11:30 pm)

Betty's pov:

I couldn't sleep so I just decide to sneak out. I run past all the dorms and then bump straight into someone. "Jug!?" I whisper shout. "I couldn't sleep, I missed you" He sighs. "Yeah, Same" I sigh back. He kisses my forehead and grabs my hand. "I actually want to talk to you...". "Is it bad?" I ask as my heart starts to quicken. "No, Let's go down to the beach" He smiles. I grab his hand and we run down to the beach. 

 "Whats this about?" I ask as we got down to the beach. He looks at me with a nervous smile. "Your not breaking up with me, Are you!?" I exclaim. "No, Not at all" He chuckles. He then pulls out a small white box from his pocket. "Jug, You are not" I say in shock. He pulls out a small slip of paper and starts to read it...

"With this ring comes a promise, The promise is for me to love you for as long as we both shall live. I will love you through the hard times. I will love you on the days where I you are sick. I will love you and comfort you when you need it. 

"If you choose to make this promise, All you have to do is let me put this ring on your finger, and I will be forever yours.. I love you so much, Baby, So much, I promise to always be by your side through thick and thin, I promise to hold you when times get tuff and I just promise to love you and be there because you are my life, my soul, my everything..."

"I love you, Betty Cooper, Forever"

I start crying like crazy at his beautiful words. I nod as he slips the ring on my finger. As I hug him tightly I admire the ring that meant so much to me. As I look closely I can see something engraved around it.

'I will always be the one to save you, My princess'
