21 : Changed Her Dress

The situation is finally under control. Karl was really serious. His strength seemed to increase tenfold and managed to finish off those who tried to hurt him. He walks to Antania and carries her slowly.

"Engh." 

"Don't move." Karl says but Antania is still unconscious.

He glances at the carriage Antania went on. The same shadow looks familiar to him.

"Bring him too." Karl says as he looks at the kid who he has saved and walks away.

Karl's POV

"No!"

I turn my body to see the kid. He's trembling with fear, trying to fight against the guard.

I sigh for a while and walk closer to him.

"What's your name?"

"Al-Alberth," his voice trembles as if he's talking to a monster. His head looks down to the ground.

"I know you're afraid. I won't kill you," I stop to see his reaction. Still the same, scared. I try to kneel down with Antania still in my arms and look at him in the eye.

"This girl has saved you, right." Alberth nods.

"She's injured right now. You don't want to help her?"

"I-I want." Alberth looks at Antania. His eyes look glazed.

Antania moves again. I look at her, that eyes slowly open and look at Alberth. She tries to smile at him and reach for his hand.

"Come with us. My stomach hurts already, I can't wait any longer." Antania chuckles. Alberth quickly nods and tightens his grip on Antania before finally releasing it so I can carry her nicely.

Antania's POV

The light from the sun finally wakes me up.

"Hoam.." I stretch my body as I sit by the bed.

"Ouch!" I flinch. I forgot about my wound. I widen my eyes as I recall yesterday's incident. Everyone's injured. I need to quickly check them, that's why I'm here in the first place.

I stop as I felt someone is coming inside.

Oh!

"Good morning." I brightly smile to the kid who looks stunned.

Hmm? Is something wrong?

"Come here, will you?" I giggle.

He slowly walks to me. 

"What's your name?"

"Alberth." He answers.

"You can call me, Antania." I pat his head as his face turns red, so cute! His black hair reminds me of Karl. By the way, where is he?

"Do you know where Karl is?"

"Hmm?" He looks confused. Don't tell me he doesn't know Karl's name.

"The scary man."

"Oh!" He understood when I said that?! HAHA! this is so funny.

"Outside." Alberth says as he looks down. I think he is still shy and afraid.

"Do you want to go outside?"

I stand up as I offer him my hand. He's so small.

"But, I'm scared."
