09 : New School

"Antania, you are 16 now. Kenn and Karl are going to going to a new school. I was thinking if maybe you would also like to try going to school."

I widen me eyes. "Can I?"

Empress Keana chuckles.

"Of course, dear. Vasulla and I attended school when we were at your age."

"Sounds great!" Kenn joins in and he keeps eating his meal.

I stay still. My mind is flying inside my head. I look at Karl who seems to not care. Now he looks back at me and raises one eyebrow.

"What?" He asks.

"Nothing." I shake my head.

"Is it possible if I attend different school?" I turn my head to ask Empress Keana.

"Not that doesn't sound great." Kenn says again as he pouts.

"Kenn." Vasulla warns him.

"Oops, sorry."

"Well, It's fine though. But why?" Keana asks.

"I just want to try out new things and experience different environment." I say as my finger taps on the table.

"Well, my only reason for you to attend the same school as Kenn and Karl is so that they can accompany you."

"If that's the case then, I think you can discuss it with Karl." Empress Keana says as she smiles.

"No need. It's up to her to choose the school she wants to attend." Karl simply says.

Tch. Alright then!

"Then, it is settled. I'm going to ask Barb to look for another school."

Who is Barb now?

"You'll know."

I look around. Did somebody just say to me? As soon I as realized no one was actually talking to me, I shake my head.

"It's me, Antania."

I immediately hit my head. It's Merlin's voice.

I can feel someone staring at me. So, I lift me head and look at Karl.

"What?" I ask.

"Nothing." He then continues eating without looking at me glaring at him. He's favorite word nowadays is 'nothing'. It pisses me off sometimes!

"Sis, are you sure you want to attend different school?"

I nod. "Why not?"

"I just thought that if you attend the same school as me and brother, it would be really fun!"

I laugh hearing Kenn's answer.

"Do you miss your friend?"

I frown. "What do you mean?"

"I mean, you had friends back at your palace right. Don't you miss them?"
