We all sat at the living room, JB was also here. Jackson told us he could be a very big help to us because of his parent's wealth, which will be soon to be his.

"So i've talked to my parents about this, and the school president agreed to give you guys a month for a 'break', on a condition of course that you will gain a month of summer classes to make up for it." JB spoke. We all nodded in relief.

"Oh, about the school break, was that possible though?" I asked, JB chuckled.

"This is not possible to other people so consider it as a speacial treatment" he shrugged. I gave him a thumbs up with my free hand. My other hand is intertwind with Jinyoung's tightly as if scared to let him go. JB glanced at our skinship and smirked. "I see you two made up" i looked down blushing while nodding.

"Dont you guys think we're taking it too far?" I asked. I mean yeah our lives are important but I think being away from school just because of some scary guy is threatening us with our life is kinda petty...right?

"You haven't told her yet?" Jackson spoke. Jinyoung looked at me with concern in his eyes. I sat there clueless.

"Told me what?" Jinyoung's hand tightened around mine. He sighed.

He took a deep breath before speaking. "My dad knows the guy who's been messing with us" my mouth slighty agape.

"W-what? Who?" I stuttered.

"Jaehyun"

"He's my cousin." I only furrowed my eyebrows. "They've been like this since forever. My cousin still holds his grudge against my father, ever since what happen to his father, my uncle. Grandma handed the company to dad instead of uncle, that's what made my uncle crazy."

I look at JB and Jackson, both of them understanding every word Jinyoung says. I guess they already know about this.

"Uncle was alcoholic and depressed, his wife divorced him. Every one just left him except his son, which is Jaehyun. Uncle felt lonely and cant put up with everything anymore to the point that he could not handle it... so he uhhh..." he paused as JB put his hand on Jinyoung's shoulder.

"He took his own life" he finished, we were all silent, some details were still processing in me before I can even react. "And his son is taking revenge"

"B-but what does this has to do with me?" I said, still puzzled.

"Well you clearly know that the company is almost at the edge of a cliff right? He does not want you to merge with us, he wants my father to go down"

"Oh" I simply mumbled. Not really knowing what to say.

If this mess would stop just if I reject the engagement, then my life would just be in peace.

But then again, that would be selfish of me for the other side. I might have known Jinyoung for only a while, but leaving him just for a cruel man to take down his parent's hardwork would leave a big guilt in my heart.

On the other hand though, I can't leave him again. I would be lying if say im only doing this marriage for his family.

I didn't think I would fall for him with just small amount of time of us being together, let alone our first encounter, which was the opposite. I guess that's how fate works?

But im still at the urge of thinking, does he love me back? He likes me, I guess that's what he said. But love? It's a big, beefy word to be honest and im sure im feeling it right now, not sure about him.

"Aye! Earth to jihyun-ah~~~~" Jackson sang which made me snap out of my thoughts.

"What?"

"You're zoning out" He replied. I mumbled an 'oh'.
