Jinyoung's POV (WEEK BEFORE 1ST DAY OF SCHOOL)

"You, are going to get married" My  dad's sentence echoes through my mind.

I blinked numerously, shocked at his demand.

"Come again?" I replied.

"Your mom and I decided to put you up to marriage, since it's the only way we can save the company. I know this is sudden-" i cut him off.

"Sudden? Dad im only 20!" I yelled, not meaning it.

"I know I know, just know this, you can devorce her after the contract has been signed or if not, maybe after two to three years?" He explained, desperately wanting my approval.

"No, I cant. Im sorry, you can request other things but not this one. Miahne, I cant do this." I bowed and walked out the door and went to my room.

How can they sell off their son like that?

But if I think wisely, they have been working hard for this since forever, the blames on me if we go bankrupt since I havent agreed to the stupid idea.

I sigh frustratingly.

I woke up at 1:31am in need of water. I went downstairs but I heard muffling voices.

"He said no?" Mom said to dad.

"He said he can't. You know we cant force our son into this marriage dear" he sigh.

"I remember how your mother saved this company and now we cant even save it again" my mom said with her voice cracking, urge of tears.

"Its alright, im sure there is other ways"

I quickly made my way upstairs and hit my head with a pillow.

I cant believe im starting to consider this marriage.

But im doing it for them.

"Her name is Song JiHyun" Dad said at our family meeting after me giving them the best news the following day.

I nodded which made him carry on. He put out a picture of her.

"She's the same school as you and same year level. She doesnt know about this, yet. Her dad will gonna tell her soon though, so for now treat her good." I rolled my eyes.

"Who says I want to he friends with her?" I glared at my father.

"Well you are going to marry her, so give it some chill. I saw your class schedule and luckily you'll have the same class as her, so its an advantage." He shrugged his shoulders and smiled.

"She's a kind, thoughtful young lady Jinyoung, give it a chance" mom added. I sigh.

"Fine, whatever."

Jihyun's POV (PRESENT DAY)

"Just put in my back please" I gave my dorm neighbor, Hyeri, the pain patch since my back was hurting ever since I woke up this morning. All thanks to someone.

"What even happened to you? Did you fall or something?" She asked, applying it to my back.

"Yeah, something like that" she pat my back gently. "All done" I stood up and head towards the door since I still have class later.

"Thanks Hyeri-ssi, I owe you one" I smiled at her.

"No prob, just knock if you need anything, I know you're the only one in your room." I nod and waved her goodbye.

I made my way into the campus, smiling at the guard and every faculty member that cross me.

Suddenly an arm slumped around my shoulder making me wince in pain. I see Jackson and glared at him.

"Well good morning to you too" He said sarcastically. "Woah what happened to that?" I scanned my shoulder region, since almost half of the patch was visible.

"Got backpains this mornimg" I said simply. "C'mon lets go to class" i grabbed his hamd quickly changing the subject.

"Excited to class I see?" He said with a teasing tone. I scoffed and just shook my head, chuckling.

"I dont even know why you're my bestfriend, you just love to tease me everyday"

"Have common sense Jihyun-ah that's whats bffs do" I rolled my eyes. As we entered the room, most of the class were alresdy there, including him. I sigh.

I went to my seat not making eye contact with him.

I could feel his intense gaze beside me.
