Jeff continued on with unimportant announcements before telling us what our next task was.

"So now that I've finished with my announcements I'll tell you your next task. We are all going to Oceanside. Right now!"

It was about an hour drive to get there and I couldn't wait. I had never been but it seemed like an amazing place to film. The only problem was I had to do it all with Luke.

"Once we arrive everyone will go with their partners to find certain things all over the city. It's kind of like a gigantic scavenger hunt. Once you find what your looking for you have to take a picture with it. To get around the city we have camp cars. Since you are the older teens, at least one person in your partner groups has a license. Everyone has to be back by 5:00 for dinner. The first team back will recieve a prize. Here are the lists. Your time starts now!"

No one was expecting this so a lot of people just sat there staring at Jeff. Then people started to get up and plan with their partners. I walked over to Luke and tried to start planning.

"Ok. We have 2 hours of comute in total so that leaves us with 2 hours for searching. Do you have a driver's license?"

"Uh yeah. Let's get going." Luke seemed in a bit of a better mood. That was good since I was spending the next 4 hours with him.

"Uh...I think someone said the cars are in the staff parking lot over there."

"Okay."

We had been on the road for forty five minutes and Luke was driving. I had tried to start a conversation a couple times but then I just gave up. Eventually I ended up filming some shots out the car window.

"We should reach Oceanside in fifteen minutes. Do you know what we should look for first?" Luke asked.

"The first thing on the list is Beach Break Cafe." I pulled directions up on my phone and we arrived within the next 20 minutes.

Luke parked and we walked to the front.

"So do we take a picture of something?" Luke questioned.

"Oh yeah." I pulled out the camera and turned it so it was facing Luke and I. I snapped the picture and put the camera away.

"Hey I'm hungry. Do you mind if we get some food?" Luke said.

"You're already hungry?"

"Uh yeah...I can get something and just eat it in the car "

"No its okay, we can get some food but we should do it quickly cause we have to find more on the list."

We walked in and Luke asked for a table. I had assumed he was just getting take out but I didn't argue. I just hoped it would be quick.

We sat there in awkward silence for at least 30 minutes while he was picking at his food. Then I started trying to get Luke to leave because he was eating really slowly.

"Uh..we have to go. People are probably already back."

"Fine. Fine. We can leave now."

Of course it took him years to pay the bill but eventually we left the cafe. While walking out a tall guy who looked a couple years older than me stopped Luke.

"Luke? Is that you?" The guy had an Australian accent just like Luke.

"Oh my gosh! Calum?!!" Luke was acting all cheery for once. I was not used to it.

"What are you doing here?" Asked the guy who apparently was named Calum.

"I'm at this camp thing. We have to do a stupid scavenger hunt. Oh.. this is Hayden. We are partners together."
