*Backstory time again. So basically in this imagine you are in your hometown visiting your parents, going to tailgate/ watch the iron bowl and are telling them about your relationship with Sebastian and ur best friend is there also living her best life. Anywho enjoy*

I'm finally home to visit my parents and see my all time favorite football game ever, the Iron Bowl. I mean Roll Ride right? Anyway I have been really busy with Hockey and other stuff that I haven't talked to my parents in a hot minute so here I am. I wasn't nervous to tell them about me and my newish boyfriend, Sebastian, it was my bestie I was worried about. Now don't get my wrong she's perfect, sweet, fun, and just a down right a great person but let me put I like this, to her future husband I'll be praying for ya. She has her own way of doing life. On the drive from the airport to our hotel, then to get ready, and then drive over to the tailgate we had a blast listen to our favorite songs, laughing, and just enjoying the moment.

Time skip to the tailgate

"Omg! Honey I haven't seen you in so long. How have you been. Oh your still so beautiful and tall. You'll have to tell me all about hockey and your life in Carolina" my mom exclaimed while she ran over and showered me and my bff in hugs.

"Jeezelet me get a work out will ya. I'm doing great mom not much has changed in the past 5 months..."
"Except something!" my bff cut me off.
"Ohhhhh tell me. I've missed you so much!" My mom demanded
"Well I have a boyfriend and who is really close and I love him. I think you'll love him just as much," dang I said that awkwardly, send help
" FINALLY HONEY TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH!!! Who is he? Does he play hockey? Is he cute? Does he treat his mom well? Does he make you have butterflies and complement you and treat you right?" Dang mom slow down with the questions. I wish I could answer them before my bff chimes in,
"He totally does  and MORE literally her dream man. They are end game and you can't convince me otherwise."
"Ohhhh who is he?"
"Non other than the famous Sebastian Aho!"
"Ohhh the really cute one who plays on the same team?"

" and lets not forget DREAMY!!"
" Hey! Can you two stop fantasizing about my boyfriend thank you," I have to stop them from going on and on.
" Oh honey I'm so happy. Y'all are so much alike and I can see y'all getting along well and being the perfect couple!" Mom replies
" Haha thanks mom... oh wait.. shoot!"
" What is it honey?"
" What's wrong y/n?"
" It's Sebastian, I missed our call time. Do y'all mind if I pick up for a little bit?" I ask hopefully
" Go ahead," they answer, synchronized like to demented twins. As I walk away it feels amazing to hear his voice today.
" What is she talking in?"
" Swedish, when it's just them having a conversation they talk in it so he can have a breakdown from all the English and feel more at home in the US."
" Aww isn't that sweet of my daughter. I told her taking Swedish would pay off!"
" It certainly did. She does things like help translate any words he still has trouble with or help him speak or learn English. It's really sweet. Like when they talk in Swedish it's only them in the world, no one else matters. Just them. And just that moment."
"Aww I'm happy she finally let someone in."
"Hey guys what are we talkin about?" I ask as I retire from a very sweet and short call with Sebastian.
" just how cute you and him are. Especially the fact that you taking Swedish in high school payed off! It's doing you good!" My mom states as I come back.
" and some bad," my bff chimes in yet again.
" What do you mean?" My mom asked concerned as my friend pulled up a screenshot of a tweet, translating one of me and Sebastians conversations ( check out previous imagine tickets read tweet).
" Well at least y'all tryed," my mom said reading over the picture, " y'all used protection right?"
" OMG MOM!!!" I exclaimed, being embarrassed out of my mind while my best friend laughed hysterically in the corner.
" Oh they did!"
