Sadness and Softball

Another book in the semi series known as Haydn Fleury's softball sister. Kinda hate the name but real wanted to name it something different. Also I apologize for being very inactive, I'm at an all time low on ideas sense the season got postponed. Fell free to request anything (but smut) and I will try my best to keep updating. It was the worst day in the history of ever. It started out amazing, the sun was shining, it wasn't too hot for practice, my boyfriend Sebastian made me breakfast, and I was out the door for softball.
I was on the USA team and we were training for the Olympics, which despite everything going on were still on.
I got there about the same time as some of my other teammates. When practice started we were all called into a huddle, coach had a serious expression, all I could think was oh no if we do conditioning today I'm killing myself
" Girls, y'all are extremely hard working and have gotten a chance to make a name for yourselves. If I had it my way we would win gold and make our country proud, but that's not the case. This practice will he cut short today and there will be no further practices after this. The Olympics got canceled. I am extremely mad and disappointed that this team worked our tails off, showed pure dedication, and were ready to go and make a name for themselves. Keep in touch maybe we could all do lunch sometime after this whole thing blows over. Y'all are dismissed," Our head coach said.
What the hell! Who cancels the Olympics! I drove home in anger. When I got tot he front door I slammed it open, threw my stuff down, grabbed a ball and my glove, and extorts the house with another slam of the door.

After about an hour I was angrily throwing my softball at the outside wall of my house when Sebastian came out," I usually leave u alone til you calm down more to talk to you when your mad but you don't seem to be bowing off any steam. What's wrong baby?"
" THEY CANCELED THE OLYMPICS!!! AFTER ALL WE DONE ALL WE GAVE UP FOR THESE SRUOID GAMES THEY CANCELED IT!!" I yelled slamming my glove and ball at the ground
" Aww come here. We'll head inside and cuddle and have a movie night and idc what you say cause making a hole in the wall won't help," Sebastian said very understanding while I followed him inside.

We were on the couch, I was wrapped up in his arms, wearing his sweatshirt, and it was perfect. I've calmed down significantly and was almost passed out.
" You know I love you. Haydn has talked so much about you and I've known you enough to know that you'll keep working, your gonna play again someday and that amazes me. You are an absolute inspiration and I couldn't ask for a better girlfriend. I will forever be in awe of you," he whispered in my ear as I drifted off to sleep.
" I love you to and your probably right," I said and he chuckled.
