So from this point forward these chapters are recent and better show me as an author.
"Y/n," Sebastian called as I rushed down the hallway towards my apartment door. He signed when I ignored him for another time today," stop. We need to talk about what happened last night."
I froze knowing I had to face this conversation now. I sigh and leave the door open behind me, allowing Sebastian access into the apartment.
I was invited by Sebastian to join him for the dinner a few of his teammates and their guesses joined. Their guests were their significant others and the mood of that lingered in the air. I was definitely past tipsy but not to the trashy kind. I was able to walk and talk fine but the effects of the alcohol were very much present in my mind.
"Do you every feel like the right person for you is right infront of you?" I ask walking down the sidewalk to my car.
"I don't understand," he responded. I looked over to see him looking at the ground. It was a long shot, I know but I kept talking.
"The person who's best for you is close to you. You already tell them everything, you know them front to back, everything but kiss them, love them," I give pleading eyes to him. He looks over to the side.
"I still don't get it," he replied.
"God dammit I love you Sebastian," I exclaim. We both stop. He looks forward, he's been looking everywhere but at me. I sigh and race to my car that's parked a few yards away. I get in the car and pull out.
While in traffic I begin thinking; he didn't get it, he didn't look at me, he didn't even call after me. Tears begin to spill. I've screwed up big time. It's all over because of me.
"There's nothing to talk about. You made your stance clear last night," I responded, leaning on my kitchen counter.
"And what stance was that?" He sassed.
I rolled my eyes before answering, "that I was stupid. You don't feel the same."
"And how did you come about that conclusion?"
"You never looked at me once the conversation started, you didn't say anything when I left, and you didn't get it until I came right out and said I love you."
"I was in shock."
"No shit"
"Y/n shut up and let me talk," my eyes widened at the sudden demand, "I told myself that you didn't feel the same for a long time. So long I believed in wholeheartedly, then you proved me wrong. I was shocked. Ok I'm sorry I didn't try to catch up, I'm sorry I didn't understand where the conversation was going. You missed everytime I looked at you. I love you so much."
If I wasn't already pinned against the counter, Sebastian would've had me there now. I couldn't speak after his speech, I was-
"Shocked?" He laughed. I nodded and held his face with my hands. His hooked around my waist. We were already very close so it didn't take long to close the space but when we did all I could think was how it felt. His cheeks were soft and slim, his lips were small but they felt amazing against mine. Every romance movie I've seen, every book I've read.
I smiled when we pulled away. I saw him with a star struck smile on his face and his eyes looked sleepy.
"Shocked?" I laughed.
"Yes actually you didn't seem like a good kisser," he sassed.
"Wow Aho getting smart already," I hit him on the shoulder and our laughter was heard throughout my apartment.
Sorry it was short but IM ON MY WAY TOO SEE CAROLINA PLAY THE LIGHTNING TOMORROW! It'll be my first playoff game I see in person and I'm pumped
