"Please welcome the newlyweds, Declan and Alison Donnelly!"

After this introduction from Ant, they both walked in to the dining hall, waving to guests and taking their seats at the top table and sat next to each other. On Dec's side was Ant, Lisa and Dec's Mum and on Ali's side was her parents and her maid of honor. The starter was brought out by the waiters and waitresses, there was a variety of food that guests had chosen. After the starters, the rest of the food was brought and, which was given lots of compliments. Next came the speeches, Ali's father went first and his speech didn't last long. He mentioned what Ali was like growing up in Australia, including funny stories from when she was younger and how she became Ant and Dec's manager. She would always tell her father stories of the both of them, especially Dec, which he knew highlighted how much she really liked him. He was always a bit weary of Dec due to his past relationships however, he knew that Ali's love for Dec was strong and she was holding out for him and waiting until he was ready to get into a relationship. After a few anecdotes from Ali's father, it was Dec's turn for his speech.

Dec thanked both of Ali's parents, and also his own mother, dedicating a toast to his late father, desperately wanting him to be part of the day somehow. Dec then thanked Ant, as the best man, for his help in organising everything and being part of his life for so long, which meant everything to Dec as they had been with each other through thick and thin. However, he mentioned how he was worried about Ant's speech, knowing that there would definitely be a few surprises in store for everyone. Dec mentioned how beautiful the bridesmaids looked and then came the time to talk about Ali. "When I first met you, I was physically attracted to you, and little did I know that the emotions would soon follow. Every moment that I got to spend with you was amazing but also incredibly infuriating, because you were our manager and there wasn't much I could do. We did spend Valentine's together when we were both single, and that was always something that I got to look forward to at the start of the year. Albeit, it took a while for me to realise how deep my feelings were for you, when we did eventually get together, everything felt right. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you and build our own family and grow old together. But no matter what, we'll always be having a great time together. To my gorgeous wife, Ali." And with, everyone raised their glasses and flutes in the air with cheers, and as Dec sat down, he gave Ali a kiss on the lips and they both wiped each other's tears away.

And then came Ant's speech, which Dec was dreading, knowing that when he was best man at his wedding he told of some occasions that only stuck between the two of them. "Ladies and gents, Dec had the honour of being my best man at my wedding. He took a few months to create a speech that was emotional and devilishly funny. But I'm going to keep this short and sweet, just like the groom himself", this caused quite a few laughs from the guests if they weren't already crying due to the sentiment of the occasion, "many of you know that we met on the set of Byker Grove when we were 13, and we didn't really get on. Dec always thought I was grumpy, and I always thought he was too cocky for my liking but little did we know what the future would turn out like. Since that things got much better and have been through many ups and downs together. He eventually gained the nickname, from my wife, of Deccy Doolittle, something that had stuck with him for the rest of his life, mainly due to the fact that he believed he could talk to the animals, and also because he didn't do much! It was almost 10 years ago when Ali came into our lives and she was, from what I could tell after knowing Deccy for so long, that she was just his type. When would he know that? 8 years later! They briefly dated, but this didn't last for long and they both put their feelings down as working together, meaning that it probably wouldn't be long lasting, just like Dec in bed. He confided everything to her, almost as much as he would to me, especially through his toughest moments. Dec eventually got the courage to ask Ali out on another date a few years later, and the rest is history. Just before I finish the toast, I have created a small video for you both." All of the guests turned to face the projector, and what was broadcasted shocked everyone. Ant had managed to get all of Dec's mate, whether they were famous or not, to wish him well in his marriage. The messages included one from Simon Cowell, Alan Shearer, Cat Deeley and many other familiar faces to the bride and groom. Dec and Ali were both speechless, they couldn't bring themselves to talk. "Now if you would all like to join me in a toast for the bride and groom and may their life bring them happiness in everything that they do. There's just one more thing to say Declan, I love you pal." Ant raised his glass in the air, and everyone else followed. He gave Ali a hug and kiss on the cheek first, and then kissed Dec on the forehead and hugged him as tightly as he could.

The cutting of the cake soon followed, it was a Victoria Sponge that had four tiers and was covered in white marzipan with delicately cut white sugar flowers. Simple but smart, just how they both liked it. They gripped the knife together, Ali using both of her hands, and Dec putting one hand on top of hers whilst putting his other arm around her waist and made the first cut of the cake. They then carried on cutting the first tier, knowing that most of the guests would like a piece.

After having many photos taken of them, Dec decided to bring Ant up to the cake and they both grabbed a slice each, interlocked their arms and went to feed each other. However, without any pre-planning, they both decided to smudge the cake in each other's faces and no one, including themselves, expected this to happen. This moment was of course captured on camera, and highlighted the relationship between the two best mates. After allowing the guests to choose a slice of cake, and cleaning themselves off, everyone was invited into the main hall, separate from where their dinner was held. Both Dec and Ali mingled with the guests as they hadn't had a chance to before, they didn't let go off each other for long, only to give someone a hug and accept their well wishes. Only what felt like a few minutes later, Marvin Humes, the DJ for the evening, called Ali and Dec up to the dancefloor, indicating that it was time for their first dance.
