Our first date was perfect, we had a few more of them in the coming weeks when we weren't working or training or working on super suits. Although a few of them were interrupted by crime that we needed to stop.
The Flash was more popular than ever. Especially with his "unnamed partner" in crime. Cisco and I are still fighting over the name. He wanted to put different ridiculous words into my name. Anything from "fantastic" to "incredible" and even "super". I don't want someone to end up saying, "wow that was super!" and then it ends up being my catchphrase. God i'd go crazy. I wanted to do something relating to my home but Cisco keeps saying that Krypton didn't turn me into what I am, or who I am, Earth did.
Whatever, im sure my name will come to me.
I just finished my shift at the hospital, and now i'm walking down the halls at Star Labs. I need to make sure Barry is okay from the car explosion earlier.
I walked into the Cortex as Cisco was talking and leaning the flash suit.
"..I'm having a hard time getting mad at you for dirtying up my suit."
Uh HIS suit!?!?
"Ahem."
He turned around with a panicked look since I caught him. Cisco gulped at my mock stern look.
"our suit."
"much better."
"Okay when are going to start considering it MY suit??" Barry cut in on our bickering.
I looked at Cisco with raised eyebrows, and he looked over at Barry with a smirk
"I'd---We'd be comfortable saying it's all of our suit."
"Our suit." Barry repeated with a nod
"Tonight was the fastest you've ever run." Caitlin pointed out as she walked over to the computer.
"Your training is paying off. That couple is alive tonight because of you." Wells added.
"I can still get faster. I know I can."
"You're gonna have to Allen, if you wanna beat me in a race." I teased with a smirk.
"Hey!" Barry turned to look at me mock offended which caused me to laugh.
"And you will one day, for sure. but for today, id say you fulfilled your save quota." wells assured him.
"Proper rest is what you need, as do all."
"better yet, what we need is a proper drink. Who's up for a round??" Cisco suggested. I looked at him firmly, as a way of saying, 'Earth liquor doesn't work.' But Cisco just shrugged it off.
"Oh dude its---it's movie night with Joe. I can't." Barry declined.
Oh yeah! I forgot that tonight was movie night. Joe told Barry that it was alright for me to crash their night because he thinks of me as a daughter. Ooh i was so going to have to show them the best movies of all time.
"But ill see you guys tomorrow alright..?" Barry checked.
He walked over to me, grabbing my hand and pulling me out with him.
"Bye." Caitlin called over her shoulder.
"Night."
"Night Caitie!"
Barry pulled me over to talk to me alone...
