Hello hello, dear readers. I am back from the dead. And I am going to update this lovely fanfic. Onto the story!
Y/N's POV
Adrenaline and fear rushed through me as guys stepped out of the shadows of the trees. Each one of the men had a evil and disgusting smirk on their face. I immediately got into a fighting stance as Asano disappeared into the shadows, leaving me in a circle of hired gang members. I looked around, searching for an escape. I felt my heart sped up and panic flood me when I saw no exits.
Guess I have to fight my way through.
All of a sudden, all of the men started running towards her.
Oh crap, 30 men against one little girl? Not fair.
I dodged a few of them and hit some others, but unfortunately for me, I got hit by the other men. Most of the punches hit in the places where I was wounded from Elizabeth. I hissed in pain and tried to knock out a few members, which didnt end well for me.
Ok, now this isnt fair at all. I cant even knock them out and they seem to know where I was wounded recently. This might not end well for me....
+Time Skip 30 minutes later since I'm not good at writing fighting scenes+
I was standing there, bleeding again and clothes torn up. I was panting while they seemed fine. One of them hit me in the face and I fell backward from the strength. He picked me up by the hair, smugly looking at my face.
"Ain't so strong now, aren't we?"
"Wrong grammar, bitch. It's 'Not so strong now, am I right?' " I smirked back at him. He snarled and threw me into a tree with massive force. I hit the tree with an "Oof" and rested against the tree, exhausted. I opened my eyes a bit to see them charging at me again. Too exhausted to move, I accepted the fact that I was going to die. I waited a few minutes yet didnt feel any pain.
"Did I already die?" I asked out loud and received a chuckle in reply.
"Not on my watch, sweetie." A smooth voice replied. I opened my eyes quickly and see Karma. He was standing in a relaxed position while the gang members were sprawled on the ground. He turned to me and stretched out his hand for me to take and stand up. I reached out and grabbed his hand and he pulled me into his embrace. He looked over me briefly before getting mad. His blood lust rose to insane levels which made me a bit scared. He looked back to the gang members and tightened his grip on me.
"Who sent you?" He asked, hate and anger rolling off his words. Never had I ever seen Karma this angry. I put my hand on his shoulder and answered for them.
"Assano." My gaze dropped after I said his nickname. I felt Karma's grip tighten even more to the point that it starting hurting. I whimpered but it seemed like he didn't hear me. His blood lust was rolling in waves off of him. The men started getting up and Karma put him down gently, since I was still weak. He dashed at them and started brutally beating them up. I watched and slowly recognized that he was dealing more damage to them than I did. That started getting me pissed off so I got up and walked up to the fight circle and joined in with a fist to an enemy's face. My blood lust was slowly rising and Karma looked at me. I smirked at him.
"Thanks for leaving me out, partner in crime." I said sarcastically. His eyes widened but then returned to normal and smiled back.
"Welcome back to the game." He replied and threw a fist past my head and hit a enemy behind me. I ducked to his side and kicked another enemy in the shin. Our teamwork was flawless and we beat them within ten minutes. I could barely hold myself up after the fight, showing since I was sitting on the ground breathing heavily. Karma was standing still but also breathing heavily. He looked at me again and dropped down to his knees and hugged me tightly.
"Thank God I got here on time." He said into my shoulder. I softly smiled and hugged him back. It started raining but neither of us minded. He started shaking a bit and I thought he was cold until I heard him starting to cry. "I thought I could've lost you in this fight. Don't scare me like that. I came to your house and when I asked for you, they said you went out to meet with a friend. I couldn't find you anywhere so I came here to think. And then I saw you getting beat up. I couldn't stand it so I came to help you. But I came too late since you were already wounded and beaten up. I remembered how you looked when we saved you from your step mom and you still impress me from how you were able to live this long with being wounded and hurt."
He continued rambling as I hugged him tighter and started crying as well, remembering my painful memories. He pulled back a bit looked at me, his hand cupping my cheek and his thumb gently brushing against my cheek bone. We looked at each other love in our eyes and slowly leaned in. Nothing mattered to us anymore, the rain poured harder but we didn't care. The only thing we were concentrating on was us. Our hearts were beating in harmony, and our faces got closer. I was blushing and Karma was slightly blushing as well. Our lips connected and it was a sweet, gentle kiss. It was like our feelings spoke through the kiss.
We pulled back, both blushing hard. I covered my face. He turned his head away and put his fist over his mouth, still looking at me from the corner of his eye. He reached his hand out to me and I took it after seeing it. He helped me up and helped me walk back to my house in the rain.
